Actual abuse also happens every single day, and I’d bet with far greater frequency than false allegations.

Ah photography is different, you’re capturing the day for posterity, not flogging useless site presented as some sort of protective talisman against mediocrity or the 7 year itch.

Yeah, I get how the mind would consider “Putin” for a minute but there were clearly other issues stacking up against him.

I thought that she was cold, calculating, and emotionless. Now she is also prone to fits of homicidal rage?

And of course, the rightwing nutjobs are blaming Hillary.

The idea of that kind of team support makes me a little verklempt. This is a good story.

Wtf are you on about?

This might be the stupidest comment I’ve ever read in my life. If you paid the slightest bit of attention you’d know Danica is super competitive about everything she does, and very much wants to win.

Danica wants to win. She’s showing it through her frustration. Watch the pit video of her kicking the car after she exited the Coke Zero 400.

“Is Emma Stone not available?”

All I know is, if my dog disappeared for nine months and we thought she was dead, and then she suddenly showed up again, I would weep. That’s a good girl. Dogs are amazing. And thank goodness for dedicated dog rescuers.

He should also have been using the ILS as a reference, even if it was a visual approach. Not mandatory but good airmanship.

Donald Trump Jr: “Well, sure, I robbed the bank, but it turned out it wasn’t payroll day, so it wasn’t even worth taking the money. Such a nothing.”

As someone who gets upwards of 100 emails a day at work, let me just say...

Seriously. Between the VASI/PAPI, flashing REILs and runway centerline lighting I cant imagine how this happened. Plus, being at night they were most probably flying an ILS as backup and the indicator would have been at full deflection indicating they werent aligned with the runway.

Whatever law it is that allows GM to use reverse indicators as approach/departure lighting. That one is the stupidest.

It is the job of the co pilot to correct the pilot in command. When he or she doesn’t do so, bad things happen, as with that Air France A330 over the Atlantic back in 2009 or the Asiana 777 in San Francisco a couple of years ago.

We’ll never know how many people made the mistake and their co-pilot said “Steve, you sure you’re lined up right?” with a “Whoops, thanks Janelle. That would have been a real boner” in reply. Run the scenarios long enough, and the sheer amount of aircraft movements airports have these days that doesn’t take long for

How does that happen? Target fixation. The human eyes and brains are not a fool-proof system. Live/fly/drive long enough and it can happen to anybody. I’d imagine anyone here can think of a time when they were looking at something and it was blatantly wrong, but their mind was in such a place that even the ‘flashing
