I had some 125 and 250cc two-stroke road bikes in the mid-to-late 1990s, so I know where you’re coming from. I bought my KTM 300 a couple of years ago, and it’s an ‘05 model. I was shocked the first time I ever rode it, I thought that much bottom-end in a two-stroke is impossible. Turns out, it isn’t!

As a long time Drew Magary reader, I’ve been vexed by how to read in my head the sentences that are in all capital letters.

Counter-intuitively (to me at least), two-strokes are harder to stall than four-strokes. This is a huge boon in the tough stuff.
