She and Megan Mullally both.

It's crazy she hasn't made it into like, a Melissa McCarthy movie or something yet.

Maria Falconetti is the definitive Joan of Arc, to be sure.

Seriously. It's not even close.

I'm gonna stump for Carl Anderson as the definitive Judas. perhaps for no other reason than that Jesus Christ Superstar when the farthest to dimensionalise the character (plus Anderson just fucking crushes everything he has to do).

I'm scared to rewatch it, and it's also very hard to acquire, but as a kid I loooooooved the film adaptation of this starring Jeremy Irons (it was also my favourite Dahl book).

Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennet. I know Colin Firth's Darcy will be a more popular choice from that particular text but Ehle's is everything that book calls for and a true Austen heroine.

I haven't watched what I've seen of his work - this and Cemetery of Splendour - outside a theatre, and I don't really think I could. Similar feelings about Tsai Ming-Liang and Lav Diaz; the idea of not giving my undivided attention to the films of slow cinema proponents seems kind of wrong. But if you can concentrate

I'd love to see June Diane Raphael on it, another member of the Rob Thomasverse via Party Down. And they've already got one Hotwife of Orlando, so can, JDR's writing partner Casey Wilson be far behind?

I think a side effect of watching this show, as with Drag Race, is going to be that we have to endure an ersatz faux-celebrity now and then, a la this season's Snatch Game judges.

I'm pretty excited for this, mostly because I'm sick of watching game shows for heteros and enduring several episodes laced with sports questions at a time just so I can answer questions about something important, like Best Actress winners from the 1930s.

cool then don't

This was a massive improvement, in very relative terms, over the Dinklage episode.

"Okay, but I have to pee first."

This was a truly terrible episode.

The degree to which the internet hates Michelle really tickles me. You're reacting exactly how she wants you to.

And Robbie's doing Diana Vreeland, which could really slay.

This is patently untrue. We gays have a longstanding legacy of corrupting other people's children with our menacing gay agenda, and then being murdered at the hands of Nancy Reagan.

Heterosexuals are the real problem.

Thank you!! I wonder if she can do a Liza…
