My thoughts exactly. The show just became... tedious, for lack of a better word. Survivors get somewhere, build something, bad people show up, the zombies complicate things, the crew largely survives but suffers a few important losses and a lot more unimportant ones, lather, rinse, repeat.

GSW before KD got lucky in Round 1 against Cleveland (injuries to both Love and Kyrie), then choked in Round 2 against them (thanks in large part to Draymond’s buffoonery). It’s always been this way, but I agree with your overall sentiments.  In the current structure, there’s no realistic way to achieve greater parity and thus a more compelling league-wide product.
