I love the NES game no matter what anyone says. Completed it once too (on the original hardware). The arcade was amazing at the time but it's basically just a button masher.

I wish that people would stop talking about Regan stabbing herself in the vagina with a crucifix as a masturbation scene—it’s not—it’s a mutilation scene.

Thank you for correcting all the inaccuracies in this review that were driving me bonkers.

That’s not Satan, it’s a demon named Pazuzu. Father Merrick unearths an ancient statue of him on a dig in Iraq. This actually leads to some interesting speculation about how old the demon is and if he’s related to the Christian/Catholic heaven and hell dichotomy at all.

To be fair within Supernatural itself there is a parallel world where Supernatural is a tv show.

the second character to take on the mantle of Robin after Dink became Nightwing

If it’s not “Chief” Wicket, then what has any of this been for?

This is probably the limiting factor. I’m guessing that thing goes through fuel fast, and there’s a limit to how large a tank it can carry and you wouldn’t want to run out while trying to land.

Completely unrelated to this show, but having seen the trailer, I now want more than anything for Sophia Lillis to be cast as Doreen Green in a Squirrel Girl show or film. She’s perfect. Didn’t notice it during IT, but in this she really looks the part.

I mean it would have been surprising if it was anyone *but* him. We all knew this was coming

PG swears in Star Trek movies are magic.

Eh, Kirk seemed to understand swearing perfectly. He was justa bit unfamiliar with some of the specific swears people used.

“A double dumbass on you!”

However, Chabon indicated that we should assume Starfleet officers have always used foul language because people use foul language. There was a reason we didn’t see the swearing in previous Star Trek shows and it wasn’t their moral upstanding. It was censorship.

Yes. And to say otherwise ignores at least a half dozen movies. Please stop with this.

The Russo’s, Watiti, Favraeu, Coogler and even Whedon can all be credited with creating distinct film’s within the MCU with distinct tones that will mostly hold the test of time.

Plus, he would probably bring in Bruce for a cameo at the least. Hell, cast him as Mephisto or something crazy. Go nut.

Say what you will about Favreau’s *excellent* Iron Man in 2008...
