y’all are weird. I hate how every friendship is interpreted as romantic these days. I’m a half a fruit myself but relax.

I was coming here to chastise Germain for CLEAR Captain Marvel erasure and instead I see this really great comment.
Say what you will about JJ Abrams’ storytelling abilities, he and his crew know how to shoot some striking imagery, and The Rise of Skywalker will be no different. The clip reel reminded me how beautifully lit the third act of Force Awakens was: the light on Kylo’s face turning from blue to red as a sun is consumed by…
Holy shit
A big exception: James Whitbrook, who said “I was very not into clone bone, I want that to be known.”
I will remind everyone that Randall Garrett (author of the Lord Darcy series) wrote his own song just for this very occasion:
LA Law got it right by throwing her down an elevator shaft. Would that Star Trek had had the nuts to do something similar.
Please tell me my anime and wrestling gifs are still safe?! For the love of God!
Also, Teen SG1 was hilarious;
I do not see the episode of Warehouse 13 where everyone is awesome and evil on this list. :-P
They used to film a lot of outdoor stuff for Almost Human right down the street from where I lived and while I never watched the show, I do have fond memories of hanging around watching Karl Urban stand around ooking absolutely bored to tears between takes.
It didn’t have to be as dark as it, sure. Swamp Thing is a horror character (a very dark horror too), but particularly in the Saga it was contrasted with the glory of nature and the great relationship of Swamp Thing and Abby.
It was kinda cheesy imo.
As a gay man, I’m happy to see representation for the LGBTQ community on screen.
I agree. You still got hints of the “other guy”. He was trying to keep composure upon hearing Nat sacrificed herself, but did reach a breaking point and threw that bench like 100 yards and grunted like the old Hulk.
Right. I don't see Banner welcoming a group of kids and taking selfies with them. He gained confidence and showmanship (like Hulk in Ragnarok), but he lost a lot of his rage and fighting instinct.
Yeah that’s the vibe I got from MCU Professor Hulk. Banner was a wall flower. Professor Hulk was a total extrovert who was totally self assured and magnanimous.
Smart Hulk was definitely just Banner, in Hulk form. He could barely even play-act Hulk when they went back to the Battle of New York.
For the film that Dark Phoenix is, there just really wasn’t a space for that take on the Phoenix, I think. The story of how Jean becomes the Phoenix deserves its own time and space to breathe.
