To expand on this, I took Taekwondo, and at our tournaments, they’d say “no contact,” but if you didn’t make at least light contact, you weren’t getting the point.

This guy has put 100,000 miles on a Bolt and got 9% battery degredation. I think that’s pretty damn good.

As someone living in Ontario, thank you for taking so many precautions! We haven’t quite squashed our numbers just yet, and I’m worried when elementary/high school starts soon that we’re going to have another outbreak, but until then, *fingers crossed*

She can mind control people from the toxins in her lips, so she doesn’t need all that other stuff, correct?

Did we need another Jumanji?

I would like a Knight Rider reboot!

Let’s be real too: the ones that are quitting are the ones that won’t make the cut when the tear down/rebuild comes down the line. They see the writing on the wall and are getting before they’re canned.

My wife has an EV, and I am envious of this. She doesn’t waste time going to gas stations (“snack stations” to her) anymore.

Yup, it was the pining for his sister for like, a decade? Then rewarding that by having them get married?! It was just too weird and it didn’t bother anyone, wtf

Yah I definitely want to roll back to 8.1 (is there a “Tiny” version yet? Is that still even a thing?), and stick with that for a long as I can, unless their next OS ends up not sucking so much.

I’m not sure about 7, but I have a laptop I upgraded recently to Windows 10 from 8.1, hoping for a speed boost.

Avoid the gen1 lights, mine are starting to bug out already. I mean it’s been about 5 years (not sure you can even get them anymore), but for $60 apiece I thought they’d last longer...

I’ve never considered the internal components, my concern is the tires. I can see spots in parking lots where people have done this, you’re basically grinding one specific spot on your tire and wearing it down. This would be doubly bad if you were on top of a piece of glass or a nail.

My takeaway from this article, as much as I enjoyed it is: Britain has a mountain!

I mean, I hope Tesla can do it, and *maybe* having multiple cameras might be the answer for failover, but to the end he’s arguing, humans don’t have LiDAR and humans get in all sorts of accidents because of visual misjudging.

I don’t know about grossest, but funniest time to me was a little gross. And it was our fault.

Well, the maximum range for Bluetooth 5 is 800 feet, real-life usage would probably be lower than that, so the “tracker” would have to at least be in your neighbourhood to find you, most likely within visual distance anyway. So you wouldn’t be able to use this to James-Bond-track someone across a city or such.

We just recently got a Bolt EV, and one of the selling points for me was that between the cells, the battery walls are a little thicker than Tesla’s. There’s a tradeoff of not packing as much energy into the same space, so you get less range, but you get the added benefit of one cell can’t ignite the others should one
