Also that guy’s completely overlooking the fact that Black Panther was made by a white guy.

It was something I read at least a year ago, and I can’t find it right now after a quick googling, but the claims at the time were either that it wasn’t getting the funding it needed, or some of it had been cut. I do see similar articles saying not much has been done in that regard.

“mentally disturbed” = “call the cops”

It’s really interesting, your primary adaptation is for your body to increase the blood volume to get more oxygen. But if you’re born there and grow up at a high elevation, you don’t get more blood volume, your entire circulatory system adjusts so that blood just flows better everywhere.

I’ve always thought that this would be a great way to put things in perspective for most people. Spend a few months in a third world country.

I watched the first episode, and visually it was good, and the tech ideas were interesting, but the writing and the acting we VERY bland and boring. Not even awful, which can be funny, but just... I didn’t care to watch the next episode.

I’m still trying to figure out why it’s called “Football” instead of “Egghand” especially when THERE WAS ALREADY A SPORT CALLED FOOTBALL THAT ACTUALLY USES YOUR FOOT AND AN ACTUAL BALL.

I definitely don’t think every washer needs this. Really if you just leave the door open after you run a load it should be fine, because it’ll dry out and stay clean.

I really thought that was going to be the whole article.

The “slow down” part is for if you can’t move over, but you’re supposed to try to move over. At least, that’s the law here in Ontario. Probably different elsewhere.

You could say it’s rampant

I found this out when I went to show my wife Meatballs, and Bill Murray’s character “playfully” sexually assaults one of the other camp counsellors.

Why are all these apologies so awful? It’s almost a bingo-card for excuses:

Also the nice thing about getting the flu shot, is it prepares your immune system somewhat, so even if you end up getting a variant not covered by it, the symptoms are less severe and you get over it faster.
