Yes. People also think that when they end their posts with just sayin’. I mean, they were just sayin’, so if you’re critical of their opinion and spurious facts that’s your problem, you intellectual.

“And what’s with this ‘personal space’ pishposh?”

Ugh, the ‘three things’ setup: if dude had a PowerPoint presentation you know Microsoft would have autoformatted that shit into bullets which would appear one by one. The suspense!

Then cried.

Fighting the urge to scroll back up to see what you're talking about. Goddammit I will win this fight.

You sound positively Canadian!

Yes. Yesyes. My mom kept my hair short and straightened (with a brush, not chemicals, thank god) when I was young and would have otherwise had the longer, ringlet-y hair I have now. I’d have been a strumpet otherwise, you see. I get it blown out at my stylist’s sometimes and I always feel a bit sick when I get huge

Despite my not-love of Ontario reds, there’s a winery I like that hails from near where I was raised called Burning Kil(n). This I love because the pronunciation of kiln is very much a regional thing. And they have a particular wine called Stick Shaker which I also love because that was my job when I worked in tobacco

Plz recommend a red because I’ve yet to find a Niagara or PEC one that works for me. It could be that I mainly like medium-bodied earthy stuff and that doesn’t seem to be Ontario’s bag. I don’t know. But we kill at rieslings! (Pfft on the chardonnays, including the unoaked, but I know that’s just me.)

Argh! Those narrow parts! You are so right. Platforms that feel like they are about 36” deep shouldn’t be platforms.

Oh Jesus Christ.

I watched a Heart concert on YouTube recently — they did a cover Let Me Roll It with Nancy on lead guitar and and lead vocals. That riff! Blew me away. And so great to hear her sing!

I think the writer thought he was being clever with the whole ‘living a lie but no one suspected’ thing.

Damnit, David Tennant smiling *and* clean-shaven?! With his hair off his forehead?!?! Dirty pool, FrolickingGiant. Sniff.

I’ll see your heroic dogs and raise you firefighters holding up oxygen masks to teeny-tiny kittehs!

Yes yes nth degree yes. This is US-based but the sentiment is the same. Particularly “The right to free speech means the government can’t arrest you for what you say. It doesn’t mean that anyone else has to listen to your bullshit or host you while you share it.

Sandy McTire. Heh.
