I grew up in Mississippi and this is accurate. NOTHING I did or said broke my mother’s heart more than me being pro-choice. I distinctly remember her saying she failed as a mother and a Christian woman.

The issue that democrats need to understand though - if they changed their platform and became the party of 100% prohibition no abortions for anyone - the republican purse strings would simply move the goalpost.

Did you ever try asking them what Jesus had to say about abortion?

I grew up in Alabama, and I agree. Abortion being THE issue at the ballots was preached from my family and from the pulpit, and it took moving out of the state to reverse the brainwashing. It was framed as, if you voted for a pro-choice candidate you were the problem. Nothing is more important in Southern politics

I’m pretty sure the white woman GOP voters in my family (Alabamans) vote 100% only based on abortion. They will never vote for someone who admits to being pro-choice. For real. That and they are stealth racists who don’t care about equality. It’s like beating your head against a wall to convince them anything other

Well according to my very reliable Hollywood gossip blinds (^_^), they probably don’t speak because...

Ugh, she was so cool. What happened?

I’m fully convinced that:

I saw Gwen Stefani on Ellen last week and it was quite uncomfortable. Everything about her seemed forced and unnatural, especially the singing.

I am trying to decide who I find more annoying between Giada de Laurentiis, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shenton.

So what you are saying is they Don’t Speak?

I’d tell them to eat a beyg of of dicks, just to be doubly smarmy about it.

But don’t you remember? Beyonce gets a pass on all things on Jezebel.

This is an instance where I would spend $200 to have my lawyer write back and tell them to eat a bag of dicks. Ten-to-one you’d never hear from them again. It’s a hell of a lot harder and more expensive to get a brewery to stop making beer than to shut down a kid who posted one of your songs on Youtube.

This is one where you defend yourself, limit your production, and milk it for as much press as you can.

This is unquestionably fair use. It is also unquestionable that nobody has time or money to fight a bullshit lawsuit from a rich celebrity with a large industry backing.

Bïeryoncé is not her name nor her brand.

I’m sure the beer is as overrated as Beyoncé.

Don't give in and have kids just because your husband wants kids. Offer him a divorce so he can find someone who does want kids. You should have worked that out before you married.

I understand why people would feel like they couldn't talk about this. If we're being honest about feelings here, I honestly felt no sympathy for the women above. To be honest, I saved all my sympathy for their children.
