There’s a lot of similarity there - especially in terms of believing they can discern minute differences in quality, which when tested, don’t hold up. Plenty of tests where “wine experts” failed to discern “cheap” from “quality” wines. There’s software to let you A/B test audio files of different types/qualities. I’m

“your weight can also go up or down a few pounds throughout the week due to factors that have nothing to do with gaining or losing mass.”

absolutely anything > “awesome”

“Not to brag too much, but I’ve used a fountain pen before, and guess what: They’re fine, not great. I would not spend $130 on one”

Sorry, this is ridiculous. I really get tired of these “Everything you know is wrong” type posts. I see the point that relying on some formula of asking a child about their day could be misguided. But you’re just providing another formula that’s just as misguided. Drop the pop psychology and establish a relationship

Second lesson: don’t listen to people on the internet who state opinions as facts.

I’ve never liked the look of the Safari, personally. It looks like a toy. “Baby’s First Fountain Pen” or something. That’s just my opinion though. They’re super popular. I prefer the understated look of the Metro.

There’s a whole lot of pseudo science that gets thrown around on subjects like this. A lot of it created by marketing firms for drink companies or people trying to sell you their die or exercise plan or book. The bottom line is, you have to figure out what works for you. Get it right and you’ll feel good. Get it wrong
