Out of curiosity - if you aren't going to pay to see it, in what way are you supporting it? Unless you meant passive support as in "I'm glad this is a thing and it's doing well even though I have no personal interest in it." But usually when people talk about support for a film, they mean support with their dollars.

Well certainly looks like a whole lot of people DID want to see it. But I guess you and the people you know are the arbiters of taste?

Wine charms I get cause its just making sure you don’t mix upwhose glass is whose, if you entertain a lot I can see that being useful. In college we wrote our names on red cups, this is just slightly classier than that. Maybe not necessary, but I can at least see the usefulness. The towel thing though? That’s

Here’s my question, though: what does it matter if someone grabs the ‘wrong’ beach towel? Like... the fact that someone apparently picked up Mrs Pence’s towel should be a problem that solves itself, because they presumably left theirs. And... it’s purpose is merely to dry off after a dip, is that something that

Here in Seattle, Amazon partners with a coding program aimed at women (not sure how expensive it is but it's not a university and you don't get a degree from it); graduates from the program do internships (usually at Amazon) which more often than not lead to a full time gig. Yes, you do need to know how to code - but

From what I've read it's less that she specifically is anti-vax, but the green party platform supports parental choice re: vaccines and funding homeopathic medicine.

Which is so self-evidently ludicrous that I don't even know how to respond.

Except for the subset of country songs that are written purely for father daughter wedding dances and they are all super gross and cheesy.

My dad was notorious for stealing cookies. I’d bring home a pack of cookies for me, a kind that he doesn’t even fuckin like, and a couple days later I’d go to get a cookie and they’d all be gone and he’d be all “what? don’t leave 'em where I can find 'em." NO DAD DON'T EAT OTHER PEOPLES COOKIES GOD.

I have a vague recollection of overhearing on the news what must have been the JonBenet Ramsey murder, but I was too young to take in most of it. First event that I had any real understanding of was probably Diana's death a year later.

Nope. Look through the comments here and you’ll see an awful lot of Clinton supporters who still don't think tuition free is the way to go.

In my experience, most people didn't take it terribly seriously the first couple years regardless of who was paying for it. The people who did were the exceptions. Not praising myself here btw, I basically did my first two years free at community college through a running start program and got a lot of dumbassery out

I actually don't think it's realistic, but it did prove to be one of Sanders most popular platform pieces and his stated goal of staying in the race has been to influence the platform in the name of his supporters. So her platform now contains a tweaked version of that plan as a concession to him and the populist

Wait how frequent is this? There's a program that I wanna do to get my MSW that involves forgiveness if you can show you actively tried to get a job in the child services in our state though there's no obligation to hire you.... I can't afford to go through it if that's just an empty promise :(

It's not about taking too long, it's about how you're using your time I suppose. A lot of idiots I knew in college barely showed up to class or did any work, partied all the time, and finally dropped out. Why should that be tax payer funded?

Sorry. It’s been very frustrating to see people demand that Clinton adopt certain policies in order to earn their support and then when she does to post stuff like that comic or otherwise criticize her for being a liar/pandering/whatever. So I took your post rather more seriously than intended, I guess.

So she's somehow wrong for seeing a popular piece of policy that her constituents want, paying attention to what they're saying, and incorporating it into her platform to give them what they want?

It won't, this guy is a troll, don't respond.

I've heard this a lot, and I can only speak for myself, but my parents paid my college tuition and I was keenly aware of what I owed them and so worked my ass off and never missed a class unless I was too ill to function. I'm fine with wasting my own money, but I couldn't bring myself to waste theirs.

Actually officially dropping out of the race, acknowledging her historic win, and congratulating her for it? Congratulating her for adding stuff to her platform is... fine I guess. How about congratulating her on securing the dem nomination?
