Yeah it’s weird. My brother and sister in law got married last fall, and I guess the theme was ‘travel’ (I think because almost all the guests had to fly in from elsewhere because they live in Orlando and the family is scattered all over) but... that amounted to cutesy save the date cards and... nothing else that I

The only thing I've seen as 'evidence' of her 'threatening' any of these women is one of them saying that she felt threatened when she later met Hillary at some event.

You’re way to invested in people’s opinions of this pop star.

So, um, I didn’t say I agree with those assessments of that song. I accurately explained that that’s the issue that a lot of people around here take with her.

I don't hate that song as much as others, but when I say immature I don't necessarily mean in subject matter so much as the actual lyrical skill. That and the fact that "Nah-to-the-ah-to-the-no no no" just grates on my old ears, I guess. And the repeat of "you need to let it go." So I guess it's the chorus of that one

I keep hearing 'no' on the radio and the first time I was like 'okay yeah this is a kinda fun song, not bad as far as teeny bopper pop goes' but every time since then.. yeah, immature off the mark and thirsty as fuck.

I think it began because all about that bass contains some lyrics that people take issue with, such as ‘skinny bitches’ and the whole decidedly not body positive aspect about liking her body because it’s what boys like... then that was compounded by ‘dear future husband’ which was really vapid and annoying from any

Well that’s weird because the ‘shopped’ one is almost certainly not shopped but is a body double because the kind of post-editing they’re talking about is very time consuming and expensive and they almost certainly didn’t do it. A body double though, easy and less expensive. So, that woman’s waist is real. That woman

I’m going with successful marketing tactic 'cause that supposed edited shot looks terrible (is it edited or is it a double? either way) so no way was that intended to be the final product.

So she didn’t stipulate no photoshop on her contract, she didn’t view and sorrow the final product, and she didn’t watch it BEFORE posting it on social media? She only noticed the editing after she’d already posted it?

ETA: Apparently my understanding of the golden buzzer is wrong.

Including specific signs about the risk of consuming alcohol while pregnant! Imagine that! It’s almost like anywhere that serves alcohol is legally required to post these types of warnings so that customers know the risks and don’t have recourse to sue. This commenter is an idiot.

I think they were using 'head to toe transformation' to refer to her acting ability... still an awkward thing to say and way to say it, but, there's no other way to interpret that even makes sense. Lupita always looks gorgeous and elegant so there's no transformation, aside from transforming for a role.

Never a truer word spoken. Fight Club is a good movie, yes, and the satire is brilliant. But the people who cite it as their favorite movie, in my experience, have been universally terribly hyper masculine Neanderthals who completely miss the point.

Yep, that picture specifically is what made me think the same thing. If that's the case, god, it's cruel of her parents to put her in these situations.

Armchair diagnosing here but she reminds me in her expressions and posture of young children on the autism spectrum... if she is on the spectrum at all it's pretty cruel of her parents to put her in these situations. Hell, even if she isn't on the spectrum and is just shy, it's cruel.

My mom seems to take it as a personal affront that I don't want kids :(

Mine, too. I have a really hard time understanding people who's identity is so wrapped up in one thing, whether it's motherhood or something else.

The new moms I know were flipping out about this on facebook, and all of them said basically the same thing; single women/not mothers can just take a vacation. I think that this argument shouldn't have been framed in terms of maternity leave. Being pregnant, giving birth, and caring for a newborn are things I haven't

His campaign isn’t hurting for money. Fiscal responsibility had nothing to do with it.
