Yeah I didn’t like how it dismissed the young guys pushing out old kinksters with “more authentic” interest in and need for the scene. Yeah I’m sure there’s an element of like kink tourism and of course it sucks that the tech boom is causing a lot of people to get priced out if a lot of this but it seems shitty to

Even if she had someone else verify the messages, it still crises ethical boundaries because she was acting as a counselor/therapist of sorts and he was a current client.

So this is interesting because I work with people with disabilities, and ethics is a big part of our training particularly when it comes to people with developmental disabilities. We did this whole exercise on ethics when it comes to a person with a developmental disability consenting to sex and/or relationships. Now,

Waiting for a flight right now and jealous of her outfit.

Hilariously and devastatingly, that is pretty much what his campaign manager has said in response to all this. That being offered a place at West Point is basically the same as being offered a scholarship. As well know, technically correct is the best kind of correct.

See now I thought that when Trump criticized McCain for being a POW - I was like, oh man, this is gonna hurt him, the right wing loves the military and especially old vets. But did that hurt him even a little? No. No it did not. Reasonable people will hear this story and be like "wtf Ben Carson why would you lie about

I need this more than I’ve ever needed anything, because I’ve been live blogging the Republican debates and I’m just tired and if I could just post that gif for the next one my live would be wonderful.

The only power case workers have is that we’re mandated reporters and thus protected from confidentiality ramifications of we report in good faith that we suspect abuse.

Currently listening to Christmas pandora, wearing snowflake earrings, and drinking a gingerbread latte. Suck it, grinches. I love Christmas.

That should have been a dead give away right there :) I’m in an British expats group on facebook where things get political pretty often but with very few exceptions it stays civil and informative.

Putting the kettle on as we speak, by the way. Happy bonfire night!

Even in the height of his douchiness, he always struck me as a pretty intelligent guy. His company sounds like a good idea and a good place to work. He's always been a good story teller. He managed to grow up and put his smarts and charm to good use.

Same here - I remember reading them right around the time he got popular, when I was much younger and much more immature. To me they were funny stories and nothing more. He was an asshole with a talent for storytelling.

I appreciate the snark and to an extent agree with you, but given that these are guys that have been absolutely idolized I definitely see the value in them coming out and saying to their fans, we were wrong, we were broken, and you shouldn’t try to follow this path. It's a sad truth that lots of young men do need to

I don't think he *knows* that that's what he was saying. I really truly don't think that he views guns as a 'black' problem. But you're absolutely right that he needs to learn right quick that certain words send a specific message whether he intends them to or not. His ignorance on it doesn't excuse it - he's gotta

Oh hey I’m also an English expat :)

I have no comment on the criticism coming from Clinton. Disingenuous, sure, but that's not my point. My point is that it's a conversation worth having :). He's taking steps to get better, but I do think he has a ways to go.

And even if it was referential, I guess I don't understand how that's a dig?

That's how I interpreted it as well. It was an excellent political moment for both of them, but in no way was he 'defending' Clinton like the media framed it. He was saying it's not something he wants to talk about.

Now, I'm a Bernie supporter, and while the 'sexist' accusation is stretching it an awful lot, it's true that he has some problems when it comes to talking about race. And while his gun control record is a lot better than every republican, it's not as good as it could be and that is because he's a senator from a rural

BLM is a Sanders weak point? Afree he was interrupted, he met with leaders of the movement, he added explicit criminal justice reform to his platform, he has had unpublicized meetings with families of victims. It might have been a weak point for him at one point, but u wouldn’t say that’s the case anymore.
