I didn't realize she was just only a year younger than me. I thought she was younger than that, tbh.

I...I don't know what the nae nae is. I have never heard this term before. Oh god, am I old?

You can be both.

Also in Seattle, but the reverse situation... My coworkers are mostly 20 or so years older. Except for one girl who's my age! But we've only done drinks once cause Seattle :(

I highly, highly doubt that that's true

I sent this article to both Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee to inform them that given their very public support of Kim Davis, I am eagerly awaiting their outreach to Ms. Stanley. Who wants to bet that if they respond at all, it'll amount to "something something private business?"

It isn't unfair to expect that from someone who is a direct beneficiary of the work of lgbt activists to gain greater acceptance in society.

If there are male characters surely the women could play them. Still drag that way.

Fucking cosigned. I went shopping over the weekend and left with nothing. NOTHING. This fall is terrible.

On my first day of school in America my teacher sent me to the speech therapist because she couldn't understand my English accent.

I'm 27; thanks for that brutal reality check

It took me until hitting my late twenties to realize that late twenties is still super young haha

I saw the link and clicked on it and didn’t notice the post date, so sue me. You’re getting really defensive about all of this for no reason.

I did politely decline, of course. I just found it odd to have been invited in the first place. In one of those cases, I was then given an address to send a gift to. And where

Europe may not be very racially diverse but it’s incredibly culturally diverse.

I think the difference is that showers are thrown specifically for the purpose of bringing gifts. An invitation is a request for a gift. Whereas with people popping round with presents, presumably there's no obligation felt on the part of the giver.

Oh fuck off. This is valid criticism of a bs reverence for people doing their publicly funded job. This is not disparaging to police officers in any way and it is certainly not analogous to murder.

Eagerly anticipating his forthcoming advocacy in treating other community service providers such as social workers with equal reverence.

Agreed there but the answer to that isn't to thank military members for their service.... It's to reallocate spending to proper pay for service members and to services for vets and families. All this crap this guy is advocating for cops is the same crap people do for military active duty and vets and it's just bs lip

I also feel that way about the military and I do say it out loud irl.... I am not popular. Highly recommend your way.

On the one hand, it’s... sort of good to teach that African American culture, due to the fact that slaves were torn from their own homes and cultures, is largely rooted in the amalgamation of cultures and traditions that came from varied peoples being forced together in slave conditions....? But... not in this context
