Yeah, the shooting had aim-down-sights as if it were a Call of Duty game, but A) your health regenerated incredibly slowly and you take HUGE damage so realistically you could almost never just stand there aiming down your sights with an assault rifle because you’d get lit up in like 3 seconds, and B) if you get into

I’m literally incapable of criticizing any of the minor shortcoming in Deus Ex: Human Revolution after playing through Deus Ex: Invisible War.

I feel like The Dark Knight Returns is worth mentioning as another instance of the Joker not knowing what to do with himself when Batman retires so he just goes catatonic in Arkham, and then the instant Batman returns he basically pretends to be normal for a couple days before going completely nuts and killing people

The only reason I’ve heard of this landmark before is that it’s a world wonder you can build in Civilization V.

So then Konami is quietly cancelling Silent Hills, and leaving the console game business after Phantom Pain? Yeah, that checks out.

Actually, gaming didn’t really “start” on the PC. The Magnavox Odyssey came out in 1972, the first (relatively unsuccessful) console. Arcade Pong came out in 1972, and the home version (sort of the first popular home console game ever) came out in 1975. The Atari 2600 came out in 1977 and was very popular. Arcades

Is it weird that I kinda picture Itagaki to be like Japanese Christopher Walken?

Yeah, it heavily favours people who live in an urban or suburban area. Or at the very least, it helps if you’re currently attending high school/college/university.

Your rebuttal to Patrick doesn’t add anything more to your position at all. Patrick’s response completely obliterated any credibility your argument had.

“Goddamn cockbreath commie motherfuckers, you fucking asshole, you fucking pig farmers. Drop dead, motherfucker, you fucking amateurs.”

Yeah, I wonder if the writers of the game were given advance knowledge that the facial animation/lip syncing tech is terrible, so they overwrote Max’s first person narration to convey things that, months ago, the writers weren’t confident were going to be conveyed well enough visually.

The last 35 seconds are the best part.
