Yeah, I think you've summarized it well. Though to go more broadly, very few shooters have ever had particularly good boss fights. The immediacy of "shoot guy in head, he dies" is what the first-person and third-person shooter thrives on, and any boss in a shooter always takes hundreds of bullets to kill. It is almost

Except this game hasn't been in active development for 6 years, because the Persona dev team was working on Catherine, which I could've done without.

I'm pretty sure feminazis can't go faster than light.

The trick is to never read Nerf Now because I'm sorry but 90% of your comic strips cannot be about TF2. And the writer isn't very good at writing anything that is funny.

Haydar is acting like a whiny bitch, but I do agree that this game is pretty unnecessary.

Man, it must suck to be a talented male violinist and have none of your YouTube videos go viral, because literally all I've ever seen rise to the top on YouTube are cute girls playing violin.

Are they ever going to update Plants vs. Zombies 2? For a free-to-play game with gross microtransactions that under no circumstances should you pay for, they're sure dragging their heels on adding new content of any sort. It still has the same 3 worlds that it had when it came out fucking months ago.

"Tow the company line? It's not like some evil nintendo executive is hovering over the designers and forcing them to homogenize link."

I thought Twilight Princess (and Skyward Sword) Link was a pretty direct update of the Adult Link in Ocarina of Time. Different hairstyle, but the belts and gauntlets and white leggings/undershirt/sleeves are all basically the exact same.

I miss the days when Link's (and Mario's) character design would evolve slightly over time.

The one people like is the other one.

FTL and XCOM treat crew members pretty much identically, in that they are just a reservoir of XP that you come to rely on as they gradually become more and more proficient at what they do, and if they die, replacing them costs valuable resources except when you randomly get gifted a person by the game sometimes.

I uhhhh....I'm pretty sure I don't want to see the original version of this picture.

Wait, what is this Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door birthday image you have produced? Where did it come from?

He's very energetic and stuff for his age, but if you see a recent picture of him that is more close up, he does have the age spots and crows' feet and whatever you'd expect from someone who is around 60.

Then my work here is done.

YOU GUYS LIKE NEW CHARACTERS? WE GOT TWO OF 'EM. ONE'S A JUGGY LADY, ONE'S A ALIEN MAN. DON'T WORRY, THEY GOT GUNS, SO YOU KNOW THEY'RE GOOD.

Yeah, for sure, every Mass Effect cover after the first game was focus tested garbage. At least the first game did a decent job of paying homage to the posters for Star Wars (which in turn were paying homage to all the adventure B movies of the like 40s-60s).

If you're not into leaderboards, or games that are just about "how high is my skill limit at this one thing", then no, this game will not be for you.

Wait, you want Reggie to announce more lackluster Club Nintendo prizes?
