"___ just fucked us."

I otherwise like everything I've ever heard Max Temkin say, but yeah, having read the whole blog entry, he is kinda saying "Mike's controversial comment stole some of the thunder away from our hilariously oversized bigger, blacker box".
Granted, his blog post covers more points than just that, so Kotaku's quoting of

Yeah, as you can see from atlas' Reddit link, only a few of the more detailed 3D games exceed 1 GB of data. The vast majority of 3DS games are on the order of a few hundred MBs.

It only makes sense that they mostly give YES as their verdict. Kotaku has, by my count, about 11 staff members that actually submit reviews ever. The rest are video producers, guest columnists, and Kotaku East guys that just report on Asian market gaming news and don't seem to write reviews. And even those 11

To be fair, the reason that Metroid's lore is pretty good is that Nintendo barely had a hand in it. Retro Studios has added more words of text to the Metroid lore than anyone else combined, if you want to compare all of the logs in Metroid Prime 1, 2, and 3 to the paltry amount of text/script/info in the manuals from

Yeah, the vast majority of the background story gets filled out by reading tons of lore in the Metroid Prime trilogy on the Gamecube and Wii. It's pretty cool stuff. Also, keep in mind that some of the stuff in this summary is speculation on the part of the writer. She speculates that SR-388 is alive, though that's

I know you're in every thread defending Metroid: Other M, but seriously, the comment made by Prime in this comment thread outlines pretty much all of the reasons that Other M's story and dialogue are a disgrace within the series. It's fine for her to be a human being with insecurities, but Other M's writing is abysmal

Yeah, I agree with TJ: Yoshida wasn't debunking anything. The guy on Twitter misquoted House as saying "Vita TV is Japan-only". Yoshida responded by saying "He did not say that", as obviously House mentioned it coming out in several Asian markets, not just Japan.

Yeah, Wii Sports Resort also had Wuhu Island, and also had a mode where you fly planes around. So I tend to agree, it's more likely that this is a Wii Sports Resort-based stage (in-game, I imagine the name of the stage will just be "Wuhu Island", but if it lists a game it's from, it'll probably list Wii Sports Resort).

Haha, "Not Rush" indeed.

Can someone please just make a game where I walk through a hangar full of giant mechs, with (comparatively) puny little human mechanics walking along extended metal catwalks, doing all kinds of miscellaneous maintenance on said mechs? I just want to be all up in that environs. Like so:

Just because one work of fiction does [morally questionable thing] and gets away with it doesn't now set some magical precedent that all lesser [morally questionable things] in all other works of fiction get off scot-free. It's not fucking math.

Well, that sure is one way to take RPS' much more measured headline, and instead sensationalize it, because "[controversial scene] pulled from [work of fiction]!" is just about the most loaded way you could possibly phrase this turn of events.

I just figured out what that song reminds me of.

That aaaaazc is kind of a prick.

Haha, wow, people care about the resolution in console games? That's rich.
If you really want to be graphics whore, the least you could do is get a PC.

You meant "fowl", but points for trying.

Haha, I think when you get down to it, the opening is the best part of a lot of anime. So much hype and promise in that 90 seconds, before the show has to actually deliver on any of the execution as far as plotting and characters.

What do people see in Pokemon Rumble?
