Why is that, exactly? I won't jump to conclusions; I'm genuinely curious why that part made you stop reading.

I do like that Majora's Mask song far better. It's a way deeper cut from the Zelda games, and the lyrics and singing are considerably better.

It's not that expensive, but I imagine they're afraid that if they put multiple colours on a store shelf, people will just keep buying the black/white model, until it reaches the point that they have to discount the colourful model.

Yes, video game companies think that. Multicolored electronics were at their height during the days of the iMac G3, N64, and Game Boy, but apparently colour is so 90s, because since 2000, those colour options have mostly disappeared in favour of black or white.

I always wonder how people get into doing speed runs of games.

"Link doesn't go blond until Wind Waker"? Link to the Past is debatable because his in-game hair is sorta pink, but what the fuck colour do you think his hair was in Ocarina of Time?

It's actually not available on the Wii. However, they released a version with updated graphics for XBLA, so if you have an Xbox 360, you're golden. Note that the controls will feel incredibly dated, however, I think the story still holds up really well, and is more detailed than most FPS games bother with today.

I think Comment of the Week was a good system to give out stars, but that got scrapped, and while they've kind of brought it back, it's pretty slow with only one comment winning per week.

I respect the decision. A lot of complete fucking morons got stars that way, who I imagine honed their 'shop skills on /b/.

That's generally how Europe operates. Hell, for a gaming example, you see that all the time in games developed by European studios. If the game has a language select screen that shows flags, they use the UK's flag to denote English.

It's a really cool idea, but almost no one does that for cost reasons, sadly. Time and effort goes into making those extra objectives, and I'm sure some data somewhere shows that hardly any players (or reviewers) see and appreciate those extra parts, because so many people play on the default difficulty, or hell,

Once you get past university/college age, the number of people who become disdainful of adults playing a DS/3DS skyrockets.

Now playing

Hey man, that's uncalled for. Moe already has it pretty rough.

I sort of imagine there must be competitive gaming moments that were just as epic as EVO moment 37, but just weren't committed to video and aren't widely known.

It's supposed to be sort of cheesy/campy. God knows the rest of the game is, and it's great because of it.

That was not a clever rebuttal.

I agree that Nintendo should've implemented their Wii greatest hits (forget the exact name) years ago, instead of like 6 months ago, but I can see it from their side, too.

"Its a dumb argument. Its like saying nobody can complain about Apple's expensive computers because Apple sells so many of them."

Yeah, I remember reading some speculation about how much work likely goes into making each N64 VC title actually emulate properly, so I totally understand why they haven't released all that many of them. Still, it's unfortunate, because while they just kept on releasing NES games that no one in their right mind ever

Yeah, but just a little.
