No.

There is a correlation with testosterone levels and risk taking. My humble opinion is EVs are still considered a risky purchase. The safe bet is an ICE car.

I’m in software development. I can’t tell you how many time I’ve seen ticket responses from developers and from myself that look like this:

happens literally every day, and practically every time there is a history similar to this one that the cops were well aware of but did nothing about.    Probably because studies show 40% of cops are domestic abusers themselves.

It’s less than the 7ft posted:

Seriously? “Going Clear” is not on here. Fear of being sued much? Fear and Journalism don’t mix gang.

Placing them at dealerships is pointless.

If you get it right you don’t even need the oil changes at Jiffy Lube anymore. Your engine develops self-changing oil, i.e. it burns enough of it that you just put a quart in every two thousand miles or so and it’s fine.

“You should fill your yard up with busted-up Jeeps. The neighbors love it, and nothing can go wrong.”

Yeah, about that delivering as promised..

At no point in the article does it have numbers. Zero details for miles/KWh, or actual rates. It mentions ranges of costs, but not any used for the math.

I think if EV’s become the norm you are going to see this a lot. Barriers to entry seem a lot lower when you can use “off the shelf” motors and batteries, as opposed to engine/powertrain development. Ditto if you can make all interior controls just an app on a large tablet.

The numbers he is getting at seem really high.  I know the non-member Electrify Ameria rates can get up there, .43 per KWh, but that seems shady he’s not providing additional info on these numbers other than “we did math, it’s more expensive.”

I like how the math shows how much the gas costs, $2.81, and the fuel economy, 33mpg, but failed to point out the miles/kwh or $ per kwh for the EV. Which I can do for them. its about 4 miles per KWh on highway driving with a decently efficient EV, which means $12.95 for 100 miles is 25KWhs and that would come to

5th Gear (Electric cars are expensive):

So Jalponik, in more than one article (you only linked one) blamed Autopilot, even though several commenters (myself included) proved it wouldn’t be possible simply because of the rate of acceleration that had to happen and where it happened.

Months later, what we already knew is proven.  Now you decide to lean towards
