He’s willing to die to force Batman to kill someone, which is very much a comic iteration that hadn’t shown up in film yet.
The one thing all his fake origin stories have in common is that they all start with a normal, everyday man.
I also think Ledger’s Joker is such a amazing product of its time. You can argue the Joker is first and foremost, an agent of chaos but what makes that really scary is the raw idealism behind it. He’s willing to die on several occasions just so that he can carry forth a message and a worldview that is opposite…
While I can see there being more motivation, and I can understand the standard of being able to sympathize with a villain as being important. That said, they aren’t necessary, the Xenomorph in Alien is a great villain. But there is no subtle plot mechanics that are needed to make it so. Ledgers joker tapped into my…
This is an interesting take, and I’ve heard it before. One of the many things that make TDK arguably the best superhero film of all time, is that even the “secondary” villain still has an AMAZING arc that in fact many people found just as, if not more, interesting.
As opposed to what? A villain with some sort of silly contrived grudge? Or are you more interested in villains with ambition?
Well, I didn’t know Ledger died until I saw the movie thrice, so you might be off base for a lot of people.

That was one of the things that pissed me off the most about the last game. How does an advanced cyborg not have enough battey power to punch someone out? He is not a remote controll car for 5…
I don’t care who you are, dust in the eye sucks.
Not a much of comics person, but am really, really enjoying the world building in DD/JJ/LC. Great writing, great directing*, fantastic acting. Even got my wife (who hates everything except GotG) into Jessica Jones.
At least the Republican party had the guts to roll 16 total flipping candidates out there in the primary... AND stood there and took it, didnt pull any shenanigans at the convention, when 14 million nitwits decided to nominate the kookiest orange haired wacko in the bunch.
Don’t care? What kind of dumb justification is that? “Oh well Trump...” She didn’t do what she was supposed to! What Trump does does not make what Hillary did ok. And I HATE Trump.
Counterpoint:
This alone says so much that this seems to be the common reason for why they are “with Hillary”...
So it’s okay to back a piece of shit, because they are OUR piece of shit. Got it.
We have a candidate who appears incapable of telling the truth about what she did, and one who appears incapable of telling the truth about what he wants to do.
In light of recent health news, violins were played at the Bagpiper's funeral.
These are the worst presidential candidates ever. An ignorant fool or a devious liar. Who will do less harm.
