It’s staggering! She killed a man and got away with it, but somehow SHE’S the victim here? FFS, she got hired again and given a gun and a badge, and now she gets to make money off this story while four kids have to live without their dad?! Totally fucking nauseating.

Yeah, I have a couple theories myself. Yours is one (or two). The other one is that she was assaulted but lied in the deposition for any number of reasons like ... I didn’t ask for this and I don’t want to be in it.

Nailed it - I think its actually both of these reasons. 

I’ve thought the same thing, and the fact that unlike many of the main players in BCS Nacho’s ultimate fate is unknown adds an extra layer of tension to the possible outcomes in store for him and his poor father.

I loved that little nod the Cousin gave him after he saw that Nacho was willing to get into the gunfight even with a bleeding wound and on the brink of collapse. Up to this point that is probably the most respect he’s been shown by any Salamanca.

It seems to me, Nacho is positioned as this show’s Jesse Pinkman, and he will suffer greatly and continuously, as our hearts bleed for him.

He was evicted for running around naked? I’d get that with an ordinary human but we all know Ken Dolls don’t have anything down there to be worried about seeing.

17 & 37 is gross by our current standards, in America, and probably isn’t universally agreed on. I think Dane Cook is currently dating a girl who just turned 18, who he was almost certainly dating at 17. That's concerning, but it seems to be consensual, and not a crime. 

I hope the good things she has done will still carry weight with anyone who isn’t just looking to score partisan “gotcha” posts. But I’m not optimistic.

This doesn’t surprise me. Cycles of abuse are self-perpetuating. I’m surprised more people aren’t pointing out how distressingly similar the details of this assault are to her allegation against Weinstein: the grooming and isolating of the victim, providing alcohol before attacking etc. It’s infuriating to think…

Yeah, bad people can be rape victims, too.  Hell, rapists can be rape victims.

She probably didn’t see it that way.  She probably framed it as a 17 yo being lucky to score with an accomplished actor.

Anyone dealing with abused people will remind you they also may act out in an abusive way. It's a perpetual motion condition.
