I don’t think it’s ethical to blur professional and personal lines when there’s a power imbalance in a professional setting. Anecdotal, but as a supervisor, I zealously avoided personal connections with my employees and others who were not necessarily my direct reports, but were subordinate to me in my position.
Seems pretty straightforward: we are to make of it what we’d make of any academic sending emails that are transparently sexual harassment. I'll be goddamned if I'm not gonna say anything about all the "but she was a good professor!" whining. She obviously wasn't THAT good if she was sending those emails and her best…
Not long after that interview, Dominic West publicly supported Wilson’s comments and said he’d take a pay cut for a woman co-star on an indie project “as long as resources are limited.” West told Variety, “But in a long-running TV show money is not a problem and there’s no excuse for it.” Hmm, okay.
She sounds like every single other indie white girl out there. Like she’s got marbles in her mouth. It is not cute.
Sketchy and pervy. Plus he stole Carrot Top’s eyebrows...
My “favorite” are the guys who complain about women breastfeeding in church. My man, if a woman feeding her child drives you to such distraction then you should do as the good lord says and gouge your own fucking eyes out (Matthew 5:29-30, for those interested). Too extreme? Then just mind your own damn business.
I've not been impressed with Gaga's acting endeavors so far, and B Coop is an "ugh" for me, so I'll save it for a Netflix naptime movie.
Sincere question, no shade: is there anybody actually looking forward to A Star is Born? Nothing about it screams “interesting” to me; it just reads as Oscar bait, and not particularly compelling Oscar bait at that
Only a token opponent. She comes from an incredibly blue district, which is a reason why she is where she is now. (Another reason is her hard work and diligence. There are others.)
Doesn't she have an opponent to debate?
What she meant to say is “I want you to be arrested and possibly shot for the crime of *checks notes* standing in my doorway to not get wet. The audacity of these black people!”
Okay the nose gives it away.
Was legit about to post a comment about this, she clearly isn’t from NYC because nobody I grew up with would dare walk out on a gross NYC sidewalk without some kind of cover on your feet
Barefoot in NY sounds like some sort of punishment.
“I want her to leave ... if you leave you’ll be committing a crime!” This barefoot bitch ...
This is black face. Just like Zoe Saldana in that damn Nina movie had her in black face.
Soooo... they painted his face?
