I’ve actually had dreams where I discover there’s a whole additional wing to my apartment, including a second kitchen and a giant freezer.

“...there is something lucious here but I’ve not had enough coffee to figure it out.”

Great to see karma spit in Ulrich’s face.

This has to win simply because “normal” for air travel is soul sucking, and absurd must be enlightening and happy.

I was just thinking about Julia Ormond the other day and wondering what she was up to. I don’t usually pay much attention to actresses, even the most beautiful ones, but she was just captivating in the 90s, one of the few women who radiated such beauty that I actually felt a tinge of painful longing watching her.

Personally, I’m really happy they didn’t go together. Chidi was ready, Eleanor wasn’t. They were in love, but Eleanor was still her own person. I like that her (after)life went on without him. She may have been sad he was gone and missed him, but he didn’t define her.

But the most recent season gave us officer Debbie, who was nothing but great funny lines.

And in this case, we actually know that Pedro Pascal made a truly heroic effort to get her to stop it. Which makes a horrifying amount of sense now that we know his sister is transgender; I can’t imagine what it was like having to work with her and not be able to say anything about that because his sister wasn’t ready

Still my favorite GoT meme

Like anything Steven Moffat wrote past 2013.

I would add that I come across most unhinged when I’m being subject to abusive and bizarre treatment. It makes you feel insane and you act as such.

Nobody tell Crosby that Alice Cooper wasn’t actually beheaded during his stage shows.

I kind of appreciated it in a weird way because rock has lost so much relevance with the kids of today that I was happy to see one of the kids of today remember that smashing guitars used to be a thing

“...harumph, so unladylike!”

Honestly, the discourse turned me from thinking that smashing guitars was passé to believing that Bridgers should’ve smashed more. Maybe flattened them with a big ol’ truck.
