it will be a 2-liter turbo 4 boosted to 500 hp plug in hybrid.

“Gravy Seals”

Nope.

Element EV for the WIN. Even the element hybrid would be a significant improvement.

Yes but who has more money?!?

Wow that image I goatse what you did there.

That’s the big turbo high power motor that turns gas into kinetic energy. The other one is slow.

I took a look at available Washington and northern Oregon Bolts based on this, because hell, 6 grand is 6 grand, and within 250 miles there was one(1), with the 2LT trim, on a dealer lot. Saying there’s limited inventory is a wild understatement.

Oh great, now the usual wrong-way Seattle drivers have been usurped by Tesla’s garbage software. At least the software may eventually figure it out.

“Don’t worry, you’ll be dead soon and no one will prosecute you!”

In other words, they know their target market.

I get it, but let’s not blame the cyclist for shit infrastructure. Many times bicycle lanes are designed as an afterthought, pedestrian+ rather than vehicle -, and it's often easier as an advanced cyclist to leave the lane and navigate the roadway to make a turn or go around construction or bad pavement. In addition,

SSubaru outback wilderness edition, if the bougie suburbs of Seattle are to be believed, along with an assortment of German suvs, Toyota hybrid suvs, and Teslas. Lots of Teslas. I recognize that Seattle is not Florida, thank fucking God, but just yolo something you like. $60 grand gets you a lot of car.

As I tell my co-worker: Just like you pay taxes for the fire department and the cops but hope to never use them, it’s the same with mass transit. Every option to make it easier for someone else to ride the bus/train/bike means that it’s more likely that your inescapable vehicle hell-commute gets a little easier. Also,

Yeah, some of those bike lanes fucking suck. Also, cyclists have no legal requirement to use cycle lanes in Washington state. -also Seattle.

Heh, me too but, after trying cages and various other devices for securing feet to pedals, I've decided that either clicky pedals and shoes or just grippy platforms are the way to go.

while it’s true he’s using platform pedals, toe clips are their own thing. Maybe I should have said flat pedals.

You can do all these things without a car.
