Poorly phrased, dawn is still dawn no matter what time we say it is.

if we’re forced into a single time by idiots who are apparently incapable of adjusting their clocks, DST is a much better choice.”

No. The only reason daylight savings time has any impact on the roadways is that people are suddenly driving to work in the dark. I don’t get what the hard-on for DST is everywhere: let’s just go to standard time all the time (which is totally legal to do on a state level, BTW) and if people want to get up earlier

OLD PEOPLE BUY NEW CARS, NEWS AT 5.

These are the cars for old ladies: they’re economical, easy to get into, poor vision helps them look better, and when you drive 5 under anemic power isn’t a problem.

Lets be honest here most of these jalopnik edgelord edgecases are peeing in Gatorade bottles and only stopping to get some mickey-ds to pitch at their imaginary kids as they white-knuckle it from Denver to Detroit in one sitting.

Im going to split the difference between you too and say that most vehicle-miles are suburban driving since that’s where you have to drive a car everywhere to live.

FWIW I see a ton of truckers with a headset on. I think it makes it a lot easier to hear them talking on the phone, and if they’re independent they always have to be finding the next load.

Everyone is freaking out because gas went up a couple of bucks per gallon at most. Over a 20 gallon tank that’s between 20 and 40 bucks. So, high end if you’re fueling up weekly (and I hope you are with a 20-gal tank!) it’s an extra $800/year, which is fucking insignificant in the grand scheme of how expensive cars

I hope the used prices on those fuckers go down because I irrationally want one

Well, real ‘murican trucks, none of them baby sized ones.

You want options look at trucks or porsches. Whoo!

Free-dumb.

WELL THEY HAVE THE BIBLE READ TO THEM EVERY WEEK!

1) Spokanistan, so take it with a giant lump of salt

They’re not $60 anymore.

They’re not $60 anymore.

What percentage of these truck drivers in Chicago are Ukrainian?

Thanks for keeping it all oppo here at Pandemlopnik.

Yeah, the Seattle metro has been building a light rail system and costs keep going up mainly due to ROW costs. The actual building part is fine.

What in the actual fuck are you talking about?
