Blaming Amazon for this is wrong. The people make a choice to work for them. This is an indictment on our society that forces these people to have to work. Amazon isn’t a charity that should have to take care of people. But it’s all of us who are to blame.
“Composed almost entirely of retirees living out of motorhomes performing seasonal labor, CamperForce workers are expected to perform physically demanding tasks despite their advanced age.”
I hate this, and I consider myself a Star Wars fan.

I thought lithium ion batteries have been banned from the luggage hold for years now.
Well, it’s either downgrade your battery tech or be forced to close up shop. If I were Bluesmart I’d be developing PCB/battery replacement kits for customers right now.
You’d have had to have been a complete fool to not know the dangers of lithium batteries before Note 7s started combusting.
A couple of AAs can run a GPS tracker and a couple more can run the phone for a few seconds to show where the bag is. There’s no requirement to use Li-ion for everything. Most of the time, in the metal tube of the fuselage, the GPS receiver isn’t getting a signal anyway, so there’s no point in running; a barometric…
Dear Manufacturers,
It looks like a classic “both sides” false equivilency because google struck back in nearly the exact same way Amazon struck them in the first place. But that’s the point—Google didn’t strike first. And that’s the difference.
So, let me see if I have this right:
The issue here with regard to the ICU’s initial efforts to revive the patient lie in the permanency of the decision. Once it is decided to let them go, there is in high likelihood, no turning back. Unplugging machines, halting efforts (which was taken in this event), and the patient relapsing with a clear DNR request…
The figure isn’t that useful without knowing how does it compare to the rest of the industry (and also how strict QA is, how granular and where in the pipeline line it is done).
Right now, you pay for internet service, type in an address and go to it. Net Neutrality means the internet is a public utility that anyone can use how they see fit. You can set up your own website, and that site could become the next Amazon or Facebook or Twitter (for good or for ill).
How long are you going to last without internet?
There is literally one company that can save Net Neutrality today—Twitter. All Twitter has to do is lock Donald Trump’s account with a message that says, “Unlock your account by saving Net Neutrality” and the FCC will scrape all of their plans by morning.
