@gameripper: Its not the video that should impress you. With this technology you sit in a helicopter and look through a special glass "window" like a heads up display, and you will see the building out the window of the helicopter as if it was built already. Augmented reality.
@sleepneed: My bank hasn't made a mistake in 15 years, and the one fraud charge that was put on my credit card they called me about within an hour and fixed it before I could even go online and see what was wrong... I couldn't be that paranoid about my money - too stressful. I use banks because they protect my money…
@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: LMAO ... that was good
If you go to his domain you can throw him around and make him bleed... [www.please-try-to.send-me-an-email-if-you-can-possibly-begin-to-remember-this-coz.this-is-the-longest-email-address-known-to-man-but-to-be-honest.this-is-such-a-stupidly-long-sub-domain-it-could-go-on-forever.pacraig.com]
@ding-dang: I actually miss the hamburgler and the rest of the Mc Crew - Some crazy old cat lady has one of these prison cells laying on its side and rusting away in her side yard...
He probably doesn't like traffic/speed cameras and figures its the best way to beat the computer and camera.
@Charliehorse: Irony is standardized, I will try and explain using the scenario my high school English teacher taught us with; A person with diabetes is crossing the street to get their medication and is run over and killed by a truck carrying sugar - this is not ironic because we expected sugar to kill them even if…
@shimanopower: I was thinking the same thing, and if our molten core should solidify, could tiny magnets save our planet from radioactive doom?
Hey if the planet is dead anyway I guess whatever we do there can't really hurt... if we screw up its atmosphere there is no one to complain...
@38thsignal: I have life insurance, motorcycle insurance, and I am an organ donor and I pay taxes, so I do my best to make sure the "tab" is covered.
@Tony C: I am happy my state, CT, Dosn't require helmets I think it should be up to me as an adult to control my safety. If I am taking a slow ride through the rolling hills and orchards I am happy to be free. If I am going through city traffic, doing tricks, or going down the highway I throw the helmet on.…
@vietiscool: Could you link to it, I don't remember seeing that one, but would like to...
@badasscat: I agree that thinkpads were mostly junky, but I miss that little LED built into the top of the screen you could turn on to illuminate your keyboard, shame it never caught on...
@zgryfx: I think you are overestimating the intelligence of most thieves.
@Yarrr: Very cool idea, algae is the number one producer of oxygen on the planet. Create fuel, clean the atmosphere, sounds perfect... now if we could only figure out what to do with the toxic coal ash, and control the invasive species of algae that we produce.
@stressball: ... only if it is compatible with current engine design, I see that as the biggest hurdle switching fuels, what are we going to do with all the stuff that already burns gas and diesel if it can't be VERY EASILY modified to burn the new fuel.
@BlueLightBandit: JET A fuel is made to be less explosive, and hard to ignite, they do this to make crashes safer...
@johncon3:You could always install fuel heaters, diesel - (the same as Jet A fuel, and furnace oil) has the same problem with gel and even will even grow algae ironically. In cold temps additives are put in the fuel to prevent gel, fuel that sits for a long time is treated for algae.
@curiouscomputer: Thats what I tell people too, I don't love ATT - but if any other network took on the load they did I think they would have the same problems - and now no ones network is set up for the load ATTs network can now handle.
