For US criminals, I agree.

Everyone does seem to have forgetten about the Deporter-In-Chief.

The counterargument to that is “We’ve shored up the safety net before, it doesn’t solve the problem, so we’re going to do something else.”

You’re the second person to make that point so I apologize for the confusion I caused in my earlier post.

You’re right - If you’ve ever lived in a community that has an HOA, you know that your home IS their business.

If you go to the KMOV story, she complained about the photo, he apologized for taking it and then deleted it (or at least told her he had deleted it). Then they had sex again!

Think about it: If she didn’t know the conversation was recorded, she couldn’t have reported that to the police, could she?

Or you could make people buy health insurance, which is a sort of tax but each person pays their own way.

As a public official, I think reporting on the Governor is fair.

No, he says that he’s got law enforcement coming to him. I don’t know that I take that as true because it doesn’t make a lot of sense.

See, I’d never even heard of that one. I didn’t think it could get worse than Keillor but I was wrong!

The worst character in this whole thing is the ex-husband. If he hadn’t gone to the press, no one would know about this. He did it to get back at her.

You wouldn’t be affected by these new regs. They only apply to able-bodied people that are NOT working anywhere.

Actually, the elderly are specifically exempt from these regs, as are the disabled, the pregnant, children, etc.

Don’t worry too much. If you read the actual regs, they only apply to “non-elderly, non-pregnant, adult recipients” of Medicaid that are “not disabled.”

No, the woman says that when she complained about the photos Mr. Governor told her he deleted them . Then she had sex with them again. That’s the part of the article you left out:

Does this mean some particularly sadistic Republicans will require elderly people to get jobs in order to keep their access to healthcare?

The working poor aren’t impacted by the new regulations because THEY’RE WORKING. They’ll still get Medicaid and literally nothing in their lives will change.

It’s true she didn’t consent to the photos, although if you end up tied up to pull up bars and blindfolded you’ve put yourself in a situation where nonconsensual photos may be the least of your concerns.

Frankly, I’d like to see the sex tape of people having sex on a pull up bar while one is blindfolded. Gotta hand it to these two on the creativity front.
