I’m cool with the server being the Judge of who gets what. That’s not unreasonable, although as with any system, could be subject to abuse. The beauty of your plan is that the staff is incentivized to make the server look good which, if all goes well, should result in better service overall, more tips, and more money

You obviously know more about it than I do so I’ll defer to your knowledge. All I can say is that, from what I understand, they’re not planning on doing what you suggest. It’s a total boondoggle that’s budgeted at 100B+ and will undoubted end up costing about 400% more and probably be demolished (again) within the

I know you did. And in it, you treated opinions and facts as being synonymous and they aren’t and I pointed that out to you. You were, indeed, clear you didn’t know there was a difference. Now you do!

Like I just told you, there are people that suggested a more extreme version and I agreed with them. The discussion you’ve been bawling about is actually the middle-of-the-road option.

While this is a decision I don’t agree with, people complained that it was a “naked political” act when Obama designated a bunch of land as National Monuments when he did it.

The service received includes having clean silverware and everything else that goes with it. If the silverware is dirty then I absolutely tip less. If the food is shitty I definitely tip less.

Well, if you aren’t explicitly told you’re a narrow-minded ideologue how do you think you’ll ever find out? It’s not like you’re the type of person that goes out and looks for anyone to offer an opinion that challenges what you believe in.

Unless your point was you don’t know the difference between an opinion and a fact, I don’t think I did.

No. If they’re not going to make everyone subject to MW (and that’s not on the table) then wait staff should share their tips.

You should do it yourself some time to see that you’re no less a zealot idiot than the people you criticize. Give it a go. You’ll find out in no time.

You don’t have to ever accept an opinion as fact because, by definition, an opinion is not a fact.

LOL - you need to re-read because there are plenty of people that agree with me and believe that all restaurant staff should be paid MW and there shouldn’t be tipping at all.

And I don’t disagree that writing this story is important. It is and should be. My point, and my grievance, is you’ll never see the Pixar story because this site doesn’t do that.

Bye again!

Sorry to disappoint you but I do the same thing to Breitbarters (and Red State people) I do to the idiots here. You’re all zealot idiots but you’re just on different sides of spectrum. You’re as unreasonable and convinced you’re 100% right as they are. It’s fun to invade all of your echo chambers because I don’t think

I agree. If you go through the comments here, though, that opinion is in the distinct minority. Most people - apparently this site attracts wait staff - are more than happy to keep the current system in place but are not willing to share tips with cooks and dishwashers.

They are stealing all the tips. You’re not sharing them, are you? No. You’re justifying not sharing them by claiming you’re doing something more valuable when you’re not. You’re riding on the backs of others as much as you fear the owners are going to ride on yours.

Fuck off, dothead.

And the fact you’re a total hypocrite told me everything I needed to know about you a couple hours ago. Bye!
