Legitimate question: Why wouldn’t they have come forward DURING THE FUCKING PRIMARIES so this guy would already be out of the picture? That’s when this shit would have hurt him.

No, the worst time for him to have these allegations appear would have been right before the primary. It probably would have hurt him then.
Well, that’s looking at it with rose-tinted glasses, isn’t it?
They didn’t wait, genius. This story ran THEN the NYT article appeared later. That’s why in the headline it’s updated.
No, many of Jezebel’s (note the spelling) are indeed junk. This one was clickbait and could have been written AFTER the NYT piece ran to actually insure it was accurate.
Before the article came out and anyone knew what was in it? Well, I guess if an idiot calls me an idiot I’m not too bothered by that.
No, you’ve got it backwards. The HR article references the NYT article that hadn’t come out yet but spoke with “a source” about it.
It does. So, of course, did the pieces written by Jayson Blair and, to some extent, did Judith Miller’s. Here though it looks like the NYT confirmed at least the Corry story with Courtney Cox and David Arquette.
Maybe. If the movie portrays the old director sexual assualt guy in a positive light, I can see them cancelling the premiere to either (a) re-shoot parts of it, if feasible; or (b) wait until all this Weinstein stuff blows over, which seems like a dream for them.
What did I write that has you so upset, Tinkerbell?
The Hollywood Reporter article that is the subject of this story has come out.
Well, given that Miller was only one part of the false reporting that got us into multiple wars that are still ongoing, I’d say the multiple lies she alone printed should carry significant weight with any reasonable person.
We’re getting deep into the English waters here but my money says it’s the subject of a preposition, and properly ends in a noun.
You know it hired and printed Jayson Blair, whose idea of “reporting” was writing fiction, right?
If you read the Hollywood Reporter piece, it’s based on speculation and contains this gem: “A source tells The Hollywood Reporter that a New York Times story on the comedian is about to break, and the premiere was canceled in case it is damaging.”
A witch hunt is when you go after anyone that falls into a certain category that you want to get rid of.
Hey, that Hulk Hogan sex tape was REAL.
You’re assuming that’s why they cancelled it. It could just be an instance of terrible timing. I don’t know anything about the film’s specifics, but unless it utterly condemns the Woody Allen-esque character, now is a bad time to release it.
It will be based on unnamed sources and thus be per se hearsay.
I don’t know about that:
