Funny, I had a similar idea, but for third party voters. Basically, as the bombs fall, a person in a Stein or Johnson shirt says, “Well at least I voted my conscience.”

Funny you bring up the nascent 80's funk metal scene because the day Mosley died, but before the news broke, I was listening to RHCP’s “Real Men Don’t Kill Coyotes,” and it got me thinking on how there was this funk/alterna-metal undercurrent waiting to go off but it didn’t really come to apotheosis the way grunge

Don’t forget the NASA shuttle falling in the sea.

Hey! That’s a half-truth!

Interesting. Do you have a source? I know she became vocal once the story broke, but haven’t heard anything about earlier involvement in the story.

So you’re thinking perhaps this was always one of the stories on the verge of coming together that Ronan Farrow finally said, “fuck it, let’s go for it?” If true, the suppression of that story over the years is a scandal onto itself.

Agreed 100%. Farrow is definitely MVP here and your speculated timeline pretty much matches my own.

Long story short: you think maybe a creditor was behind this?

Fuck, man. I so feel you on this one.

It’s okay. Good to know that someone cares a lot.

Goddammit. I’m a bigger fan of the Patton era, but even those first two albums are the shit. Rest In Peace, Chuck. I’ll always care a lot.

Here’s what I’m curious about: what was the catalyst that got the NYT and the New Yorker stories going? People seemed to know to varying degrees that Weinstein was a creep, but no one openly moved against him. Something happened to change things. “He’s not as powerful anymore” is too vague, too general. We may not

Goddammit, you made me laugh and now I’m going to Hell. Have your damn star.

Yeah, but what if Joseph was married to another woman at the time?

I approve of this casting. I’ve always thought that Page had some edge to her that he gone untapped. Vanya is a good fit for it to finally come out. Plus, if Page is in, it bodes well for the rest of the cast. Looking forward to this series quite a bit.

Recent listens include: the new Fever Ray album (not bad if Bjork of the Underworld is your thing), the new Bully album (not bad if you like 90's style mope rock), and Rozwell Kid’s “Too Shabby” (not bad if you like hardish, but also popish, alternative rock).

Agreed all around. I really didn’t care for Alanis back in the day, but my opinion softened over the years and when I finally picked up Jagged Little Pill at some point in the 2000's, I was actually kind of mad at myself for letting such a good album get by me.
