What? If you’re not using Bluetooth and you don’t want push email, why would you have them turned on? And at no point do I suggest all these things are all about resources, that’s absolutely not the case, most of this stuff is just things I find annoying, which is what I point out at the start.

I have faith in our readers.

My wife and I are currently trying to pay down our student debt. A majority of our debt is from her medical school, and she came out of school about a year ago with $150K in debt. The way we are tacking this is we are living like we never left college. In addition to that, some strategies we are tacking the debt are

I realize I'm in the minority here:

The $50/wk. is probably not an exaggeration, but more a misdirection. She probably saves $50 by buying large quantities of things she won't ever actually need that much of. I almost fell into that trap a few times. But the deal I scored where I ended up with 150 rolls of toilet paper was totally worth it. It's not

I find that I, like many people I presume, can get fairly single-minded when it comes to being frugal. I've caught myself saying "I can't afford to take the train into the city, or to go to a movie, or to x, y, z." I spend all month avoiding this and that but then, in one fell swoop, I go out for drinks and drop $40.

I'm glad you can at least see that. I never understand why some people get so up in arms and offended by posts like this. It's not saying you have to do anything. And even if it did, it wouldn't be true.
