The general public has demonstrated that they are not responsible enough to be allowed to use the internet.

Does this mean Trump won’t be able to use his Sharpie to alter the path of hurricanes anymore? I’m guessing the Florida Republican degen who wrote this bill didn’t think that through.

I think the “for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, the weather, or the intensity of sunlight” is the out for that. It’s just a happy side effect for them, not the main concern.

Also, if they are for the express purpose of mind control and happen to affect temperature, no problem.

I loved the part of that ‘What in the world are they spraying?’ mockumentary when they went to an old aluminum mine and found that the soil and water there contained the exact parts per million of aluminum found in the Earth’s crust anywhere and used that as an example of chemtrails being real.

If it’s global warming, that’s not possible because humans can’t impact the weather.

$100 says the dead dude was the only person in the car not wearing a seatbelt. Or the hardest impact was on the passenger side and the rear passenger was sitting behind the driver.

He’s got 84 months to pay that off.

The crash left the driver of the car and one passenger in need of medical attention and killed a third person in the car

His comment about Tesla highlights the massive conflict of interest Musk has. No CEO should be in government, much less the world’s richest, with lucrative government contracts.

Hey, remember how Tesla got Department of Energy loans back in the day to support their early manufacturing!?

It’s amazing how the leaders of MAGA know how insanely stupid their base is, and how shamelessly they pander to and intentionally foster that ignorance.

I vote for he knows he’s lying and doesn’t care.

The invisible hand of the free market for thee, but not for me, I guess.

I love that plane manufacturers and airlines are always trying to find innovative ways to make air travel worse than it already is.

The in-cockpit toilet and awkward radio conversations would be a crucial aspect of establishing Extended Minimum Crew Operations

See I knew the airplane nerds (no disrespect, nerds are great) would jump in and tell us it’s mostly computer controlled, and I’m ok with that but...

You already do trust your life to a computer when you get on a plane- you just don’t realize it.

I understand the use of computers for perhaps 99.5% of every flight, and have no issues with that. But I fly b/c I have faith that the pilots have an equal desire to stay alive as I do (with some exceptions, Germanwings), and therefore will be Herculean in their efforts in a crisis to land us alive. I have no faith an

The plane can’t complete an approach and land itself.
