My 2000 Celica GT-S went 384,000 miles and ran like new for 20 years until a deer killed it. All I had to do was change the oil often and take good care of it. Was only on its second clutch too.  But mostly I think too many cars are unloved and neglected.

Hmm, including plug-in hybrids with BEV seems super sketchy, as the operational lifestyle of a plug-in is way closer to a HEV than a BEV.
