One of the most underrated movies of all times.

You know those bumper stickers that say “Nice Prius - Nobody Ever”? Well, this is a NICE Prius, I dig it too!!!

Jokes aside, Jay has one of the most watchable car shows and is a true enthusiast and great ambassador for cars, I hope he is OK and heals up quickly.

Years ago while test driving to buy our GLC300, on one visit MB only had the “coupe” version available. I was embarrassed to be seen in it.  There is no version of this style that looks good.

I design airports for a living, and I was thinking exactly this for the corporate/general aviation market style jets. 6,000' is a pretty good number for many high-end corporate airports. These are often called Reliever airports, as they “relieve” the GA traffic from clogging up the airspace of the big airports. Look

We attended the 2015 Montreal GP. 3-day pass for practice, qualifying, and race was about $450/EA. We had different seats for all three sessions, and I’d call that affordable, especially considering our race-day seats. Throw in amazing weather in Canada in June, super-friendly Canadians, and the relatively low-cost of

He does live in Wyoming, a pure EV may not even get him from his house to the next charger! I guess that’s when you un-rack the bike and set off to the nearest charger to...grab some...electrons? But seriously, I don’t think I’d be comfortable in Wyoming going full EV just yet.

I just came off a week+ work trip in Maine during which we put about 1,000 miles on our rental Pacific hybrid minivan, and THAT was going to be my recommendation! We were in and out of the van all day doing survey and site work, and man, it was soooo convenient and comfortable. Other than the heated seats stupidly bein

We actually found the opposite during the scoping of our current kitchen remodel. All the low and mid-range stuff (GE, Whirlpool, etc) has touchscreens for cookware because it looks fancy. We decided to go a bit higher-end with Wolf, because they have sweet, sweet knobs to push and turn, and really that’s about all we

I’m a private pilot, but the only time I really care about speed to the level of 3 knots is takeoff and landing when I’m at full attention, and even then I can generally safely err on the side of 3kts too fast. Otherwise during 95% of flying my scan picks it up and going from 115 kias to 118 kias because of a quick

I’d also argue that’s unsafe. If you are on high alert for speed cameras or unmarked cars that can destroy you financially, you are likely checking the speedo constantly and not watching the road. Crest a hill? Eyes down to watch the speed. It’s like when a cop is behind you and you do the same thing...except this

I’ll let young Homer answer that for you:

Take a look at the flight tracking maps of commercial airliners in this area, all of Ukraine and much of the rest of the area is like a black hole. There is zero commercial traffic anywhere near Ukraine.

Read “On the Beach”, the deep southern hemisphere might be the safest place!

If that’s what you got from that, ok.  But you’re fishing up the wrong tree.

And note that the French national speed limit is 130 KMH, or 81 MPH.  Faster than anything in the US but a few boutique roads.

I agree. Speed limits are nearly always set well below an actual safe speed and are more of a political/revenue tool to the point where they have a tenuous relationship with safety at best. Compare that to links between a healthy diet and exercise which have actual, proven impacts on health and longevity.  I agree

My heart would also like to see a rain date, but I think the logistics of F1 just do not support it. The circus of craziness in terms of shipping and logistics, it really just does not work. Also, the stress on the crews of all this is something that does not get enough publicity. And now with 23 races, it is

It seems to me the issues with wet races and red flags are out getting out of control. The entire field started on inters, and then Sainz hydroplaned off and several other cars spun. I heard commentary about full wets being the correct tire for the conditions, but they were deemed “too slow” by the drivers...the same

Moneytron ain’t got nothing on the Gamble-Tron. Cincinnati damn near covered those 2,000 points.
