Holy crap that sounds like a ton of work. And what is the frequency where this is done? And how many brakes are we talking? Is there one per wheel? How do you see the inside wheels? How long does this take? Where do you get the second person?

I used to have a side gig through some marketing agency where I’d get a call to be on mock juries run by law firms, it usually paid about $100. They would present their case and we could ask questions, we’d fill out questionnaires, etc. I think the main point was to fine tune their defense or prosecution strategy

Just reading “Corolla Cross” I threw up in my mouth a bit.

0% aper!

Seriously, turn that one up to 11!

Plot twist, ha!

I’m a guy.  I like rims.  But not this car.

Oh yes, I remember this one, fantastic!

Wow, that one is amazing.

Holy cow that is amazing, had never seen it!  If I did not already own a MKVII, I’d go out and buy one ;-)

He’s probably a “good family man” who spends his nights “polling the electorate.”

In one day, sure it is. But on any sort of continuous basis? This dude is claiming to do it literally every single weekday of every week of the year. No breaks for vacation, or holidays, or when Congress is in session and presumably he is in DC. And all this in a top-3 most congested traffic market in the US?

He also lives in one of the most congested and compact areas in the county meaning he can’t drive too far or he leaves the state, and also he’s going to have a very low average speed getting there because of the congestion, which means mathematically, not enough hours in his day to cover these miles. Much like Jerry

Ah yes, the 36.5 gallon fiberglass-protected tank in the trunk, AKA the Windowmaker option.

DeGaulle does seem extremely antiquated for sure, a victim of its age and location. I’ve been into Gothenburg airport many times, never Stockholm, and while it’s not fancy my experience is the Swedes are just the nicest people in the world. Maybe Canadians. Schiphol airport is pretty sweet too.

Right, and the NBA added goaltending to negate 7-footers just covering the rim. And the American League for some reason decided pitchers don’t need to hit. And the NFL changed kickoff personnel positioning also to help avoid injuries. And F1 already mandates you use 2 types of tires. Even golf now allows you to putt

In 2014 we had an Air France overnight Fri-Sat direct from Dulles to DeGaulle. And then we tried to check in and got bumped! Got stuck on a Continental leaving 3 hours later to Frankfurt-DeGaulle. Wouldn’t you know it our luggage got lost too. It finally showed up Sunday morning at hour hotel, by which time my wife

And Hami’s dad too, over there congratulating the Verstappen’s.

I think you have it backwards. This driver was one of the apparent few who actually was paying attention, as they reacted almost immediately. But the non-human nature of the act of suddenly jumping in to immediately diagnose a situation and simultaneously respond to it, well that typically means poor calibration in

I like when Nico had fast lap in Monaco qualifying and caused a yellow by locking into Mirabeau so Hamilton behind him could not get pole and time expired. I’m pretty sure that was 2014. Maybe 2015?
