Gotta look like a truck, bruh.

I just hope he did not die on impact and that it took him at least 9 minutes of agony to finally die.

Escalating a dangerous situation seems to be Cop 101 for many though. Too many don’t know the definition of de-escalation, which would solve a ton of issues, but they gotta be the Big Man. I keep thinking of the Army 2nd Lieutenant at the gas station down near Virginia Beach recently. Those assholes were threatening,

ADS-B is interesting here (for the non-airplane nerds: Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast, a GPS system that both broadcasts your position to ATC - the OUT function, and can also receive that same location data from other other planes, the IN function) . While OUT would be required in this airspace, IN is

At this point South Carolina is just North Florida.

Haha, deep cut there!

Yes, down near the island of Rand McNally.

When I saw B&B in that Super Bowl commercial, I was like man, those were the days of great comedy.

Oh, the hospital is in Network...but the anesthesiologist who you had zero say in seeing was not, sorry, so pay us $4,000 for his work. USA, baby.

If by “random glitch” you mean “standard policy”, then yes. I had to fight 8 months of the same bill last year for $3,400 from a provider who removed a tumor on my wife. Insurance paid the contract amount and I continued to get balance bills and finally - after untold hours of calls and hold time - UHC sent them what

Concur, I don’t see how he gets above the 50% business use level.

I suspect he is talking about a Section 179 deduction where he could deduct the purchase price from his income. But, that deduction only applies if you use the vehicle more than 50% for business. I did some quick research and could not figure out if simply commuting to work would qualify as business use for this type

I’ve been through most of middle of nowhere, Virginia, and it is probably not safe at all to walk that 1/2 mile. I lived in Richmond for 13 years and traveled for work probably every back road east of I-81 in the state, and VDOT’s policy appears to be never build a shoulder on any road ever. Seriously, it’s white line

Yeah, the flip side of what cops tell the rest of us...if you’re innocent, you have nothing to hide.

He should have called for a perimeter around the kid before he jumped.

Ha, seriously. And as a product/survivor of 13 years of Catholic education, you too, Church assholes.

That is some dystopian future, Robocop-style shit right there.

I recall that flamethrower article too! Although I think I read it in, umm, The Economist or maybe National Geographic.

I don’t know, maybe encourage Congress to take the fucking 4th Amendment seriously?

My 382,000 mile Toyota engine threw a P0301 for maybe the last 200,000 miles of its life. There were never any actual symptoms of a misfire, so I just let it ride. And then a deer killed it.
