Or hitch up and tow the car!  Love Great Dane’s, they are so gentle and think they are 1/4 the size they really are.

This guy gets it.

The point is to talk to them, look them in the eye, have them explain their work to you to verify they know what they are doing, and seeing what you can do for them to help them grow. It’s training the future leaders of your company to think the way the company needs them to to be successful. It’s not helicopter

While I agree in theory, that is a lot easier said than done. And I think the bigger the organization, the harder it gets to keep track of those cats and measure what they are really doing. Managing by walking around is a lot more effective when you can actually walk around.

Yep, that’s what I’ve been doing for 2 weeks now.

All of them? No. Some of them? No doubt, these are humans we’re talking about. On a system-wide basis, how will this ultimately add up?

Will they pass those rent & utility savings on to you now that your electric bill will go up running the lights and AC all day? I would imagine a legit issue in SoCal. I at least am saving water by not showering each day :-) My civil engineering company transitioned pretty easily to home work. I already run a laptop

Pickups? This guy seems to hate anything associated with internal combustion, as if his entire lifestyle is made possible through wind-powered clipper ships (made with sustainable wood) plying the seas and covered wagons crossing the continent. I’m near-far-left socially and left-of-center fiscally, but this guy is in

It had a giant grill and an X in the name, if that helps.

In theory I agree, but this Country will not adopt a comprehensive energy policy, and certainly not one which eschews oil, even if it will hurt despots, because it will hurt energy States even more, and so that is a losing issue on a national level. Also, many folks refuse to see the link between oil intervention and

Indeed, but at least we can vote it out (as of right now anyway...). Putin is able to change the laws to effectively make himself president for life, and the House of Saud ain’t going nowhere. I would love to see oil diminish on the world stage to the point of irrelevance. The US has sacrificed enough bodies and $$$

We bought a new GLC300 last year. No ‘effin way I would have spent that money without test driving the Q5, X3, Lexus-whatever-it-was, and all the others. And was not going to experiment at $100/EA when I could spend an afternoon cruising the Motor Mile.  To each his own, I guess.

While the US is bouncing around the top 3 of oil producing countries lately, I get what you are saying. Is this a glimpse of what the end of oil looks like? In 20 years when the BEV fleet begins to mature in market share, can we finally tell horrible regimes like the Saudis and Putin-Russia to take a hike, the world

Other than losing the $100 if you don’t like the car?

I think this is the hybrid model that would appeal to most of us, actually driving the/a car, and closing the deal online or remotely. I think the Carvana commercials show people swiping through cars like Car Tinder and then picking one that looks cool and closing the deal in 5 minutes, presumably never having gotten

It’s called “129 Cars” and is my favorite episode of TAL! Anyone here into podcasts will find it very entertaining & enlightening, so much good insight into dealership mentality and the hurdles they have. I love the accents on the salespeople too, so Long Island, it just makes it so much better.

I put about 15,000 miles a year on each of my GTI and Celica a year, and NPR and podcasts are mostly my thing too, but sometimes I just want mindless music and the windows down, and the satellite radio is a requirement for me. Plus, NPR has a satellite station so can reach anywhere. I do love VW’s interface, CarPlay

About 9 months ago I was sitting in a Cornflower Blur Rabbit with its nice black wheels, and was trying to convince myself of the mental calculus that trading in my 3.5 year old car was worth it. And it would have been...and then discovered the Rabbit does not offer Satellite radio. A total and complete deal breaker.

I have the GTI in carbon gray. I really dislike white cars, with the sole exception of the GTI, which I think looks fantastic in white. So clean, and the body edges really stand out nicely. I just really enjoy washing & waxing my car, and darker colors just look so good when waxed, so I went that route. And I have

Agree, the Mustang looks fantastic in that color, nice car!
