Honestly I love Doom 3, I have a soft spot for it, it was the first of the series I played it still holds up today imo.

Its so funny bc when Doom 3 came out everyone was SO PISSED at how dark it was, and now I’m seeing people upset that Doom 2016 isn’t really dark.
We’ve come full circle.

That was the issue with Doom 3 though, Doom was never meant to be “scary”. Doom has always been about badass, non-stop action. Enemies and weapons co-exist in a Chess like environment.

I feel the overall ambiance will be less dark & terror than Doom 3, which was fantastic :/

It’s like when Skyrim first came out and people did videos of seeing how many dragons they could spawn in one area. iirc one I saw the guy got to 54 dragons before his computer said fuck you and crashed.
