This show is great, but I’ve got to admit 20% of my enjoyment this year is being reminded that things used to suck even more and progress is possible, even if it seems incremental to a person living in that time.

I so hope this comes back for a 3rd Season! Love this show!

That’s good to hear. I knew I wanted to see this once I heard they cast Liv Tyler, but I’ve been waiting for the season to wrap up to binge it. I’m too backed up with other stuff right now, and I just don’t watch much in the way of week to week anymore.  Looks and sounds like it should move up to the top of the list

The did a beginning and end of season write up here. Last season they did every episode. I wish they would have kept up with it this year. The show needs all the exposure it can get.

This show needs about 10 million more viewers at least. It’s so good and gets absolutely no recognition or advertising. I was on the edge of my seat all through the finale. The show and this cast are great. And you’re right about the costuming, it’s expertly done. I can’t say enough good things but no one I know

This show is great, and I didn’t even realize AV Club was doing write-ups. Seriously, this and Castle Rock by themselves justify my Hulu subscription. It’s a shame Harlots seems to be so far under the radar.

With fewer than 90 days to go till the election, Alexander Ocasio Cortez has chosen an awfully strange time to begin insulting centrist Democrats. One would almost think that she would rather see centrists lose Individual districts, than see Democrats win Back the house and senate.

Maybe she wasn’t a cheerleader about it but if that was the problem with her motivating voters then why didn’t Bernie, who is a socialist, win the primaries? If not for the black vote we would have had nothing but Republican presidents since Dubya, at least. (Too lazy to look it up but I suspect it would have been

Eh, we say all that stuff, but Hillary Clinton who had essentially those positions still didn’t win. Granted, she got the popular vote but she lost states where people voted against those things and their best interests just to get their racist in the White House.

Eh, still kinda creepy. Not a 10 on the creep-o-meter, but not a 0 either.

You take pictures of random people so that your friends can rate them? That’s pretty fucking creepy.

Just wanted to note that this is the website that birthed Gawker Stalker and was throttled in court for posting a celebrity sex tape.

See, this is my biggest gripe against people saying “ being in public makes you fair game for me to take photos and use them how I want”. It makes me think of people who take voyeur photos of women’s bodies at the beach or a guy taking photos of an individual child at the park.

This is what people in these comments don’t seem to understand. They think it’s black and white, which allows them to not use their critical thinking skills.

Specifically taking someone’s picture without their knowledge is creepy, no matter what your intention is. Sharing it on social media without their permission is even worse.

Please try to understand the difference between what is legal and what is moral.
It is almost always legal to take pictures of random people on the street.
Sometimes, sharing those pictures publically is the moral thing to do. Sometimes, it isn’t.

Some people are against any form of accountability and call it “harassment”. I get blowback because I want to post photos of cars parked illegally, displaying their plates (e.g. jerks at bus stops and handicapped spaces) or photos of buttheads who smoke where it’s illegal (told “mind your own ******* business!” for

Don’t tell me what to do!

I was stalked by a violent and deranged man who periodically tries to find me again. I have to be super stern with people not to take my photo or post it online if they do have it. I always give a short explanation: “A few years ago, I was stalked and now I maintain no social media presence.” The usual response is
