I’m not saying it isn’t Final Fantasy, but I’ll say the same thing about 16 I said about 15: Good game, terrible Final Fantasy.

I’m really liking 16. The story and graphics are some of the best in FF history. But I am not liking the combat. What could have been a fun foray in the ARPG space just seems to fall into hack-n-slash territory. No stat buffs or debuffs, no elemental weaknesses, Magic is ultimately worthless, no real party members(they…
The trailer literally says the Prince has been kidnapped and the Immortals, the elite Persian guards, are sent to get him back. Historically, the Immortals consisted of mostly Persians, but contained people from all over the Middle East, from the farthest edge of Iraq(bordering Egypt) all the way to Pakistan(bordering…
I don’t understand people or the writer of this article. The first 30 seconds of the trailer literally say the Prince has been kidnapped and the Immortals, the elite Persian guards, are getting him back. This guy isn’t even the Prince, he’s just a rando elite sent to get him back. I don’t understand the hate.
Maybe, but even so, that’s not the actual Prince of Persia from all the previous iterations. So people getting pissed off and up in arms about it “not being the Prince they know and love”. Like people are pissed about a literal non-issue.
Which is even funnier that people are so pissed off considering the guy in the trailer is one of the Immortals, an elite Persian guards, sent to rescue the kidnapped Prince. They haven’t even showed the actual Prince of Persia character yet.
This isn’t even the Prince, though. The trailer makes it VERY clear he’s been kidnapped and the Immortals(the elite Persian guards). So the guy we are seeing isn’t the Prince of Persia. We have no idea what the actual Prince looks like.
Did… did you guys even watch the trailer before writing this article? We haven’t seen the Prince’s design. This dude with Dreadlocks literally says, “The Prince has been kidnapped and taken to a forbidden land. All hope rests with us, the Immortals to rescue him.” That’s not even the Prince. It’s one of the elite…
They literally misspelled the name of their game in the first line of the apology… That’s how you know they don’t actually give a shit.
Honestly, if you’re stupid enough to pay scalpers the money, then I have no sympathy for you. Your fear of FOMO is so high that you’ll pay exorbitant amounts of money for something like this and you’re the reason scalpers are a problem.
I will say the Super manga is far superior to the anime, especially the Goku Black arc. In the manga, the reason why the Potara fusion doesn’t last is because it’s supposed to fuse fairly equal power levels. After they unfuse, Vegeta admits that it happened because Goku’s power level far exceeds his own, so Vegeta was…
It’s based on a story outline that Laird and Eastman wrote together in 1987 as a “potential end” to the TMNT storyline they had going.
I’m gonna start taking bets. Kotaku took a hard stance shitting on Hogwarts Legacy repeatedly because “JK Rowling bad”.
I refuse to accept that the GBA games were worse than Fates and Engage. Even considering the GBA games were limited in what they could do, they did them really well. Good story, fun characters and tough combat that makes you seriously think things through.
I love this and it looks awesome. I’m totally excited for it. But man, Donnie’s voice is going to get old fast. That screeching yell was really bad. I’m hoping it was just a bad clip of his voice and the rest is fine, but we will see. Rest of the movie looks amazing.
I mean, of course, Activision Blizzard wants their employees back in person. It’s hard to sexually harass the women in the workplace over Zoom. Much easier to do it in person.
Hot takes, but Final Fantasy X should have been on this list instead of XII, XII was fine and all, but X was way, way better in almost every aspect.
I tried with Engage, I really did. And I’ve played and completed every single English Fire Emblem since the OG GBA one. But Engage is the most unoriginal game in the series that I can’t find myself engaging(heh) with the game at all.

You are definitely missing some of the best Disney villains out there. I get you’re counting the live action and animated as two separated characters/villains, but you could have just said Maleficent and Cruella once and put on others, like Frollo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame or Ratigan from The Great Mouse…
