So as someone new to Xenoblade.... do you have to have played or know the story for the first Chronicles to understand Chronicles 2?

I was the same, trying not to be totally judgmental with one side of the story(because I was always told there were three sides to every story, your side, their side, and the truth).

WHAT?!?! I didn’t realize it was out this soon. I’m going straight home and buying it. The first one was such a pleasant surprise to me since I blindly bought it without knowing anything about it and it ended up being a game that I have played and replayed countless times.

Thank you! Not gonna lie, I liked that character look was probably gonna steal it(sorry, not sorry). But since you are also a Robotnik believer, I won’t steal it after all

The only reason the Pokebank would go away is because of the Switch. And even then, just make the Pokebank available on the Switch. It’s not like it would even be that hard.

You touched on another part of why the Switch is so amazing. And that is the indie/3 party games. I’m a sucker for good indie games and it’s great that Nintendo FINALLY realized that indie games go a long way to helping a system have some staying power.

What?!? I remembered LOVING this game as a kid! I’m the exact opposite of you, I guess. I used to hate math, but this game actually made it fun to solve problems. I remember being so good at this, that I only needed two clues to be able to guess the entire sequence. This game and Zoombinis were all I played.

They are all standalone. SMT IV was the first SMT I bought(although I had played all the Personas before) and I didn’t miss out on anything.

So is this similar to the Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep mini-board game? Because it sounds awfully similar

Agreed. Also, the good ones have shortcuts/alternate paths that you unlock when you get the new abilities, thus reducing the repetition.

As he transforms, I can just hear him yelling, “Yu-Gi-Gwent!!”

I think Hosoda’s work is amazing and I love all of his previous work with the exception of one: Summer Wars.

Awesome. I’m glad to hear that. Thank you for the quick response!

Another well worded response Arnheim.

Does the game go back to the original way and force a permadeath rule for defeated units or is it like the new ones where you can toggle it on and off?

Your #1 is the EXACT reason I won’t buy a Bethesda game anymore. I don’t like to blindly buy games because I hate wasting money. By the time I get to read a full, decent game review about a Bethesda game, I have already lost interest and moved on.

Yeah, I get that now. What’s I didn’t realize was that, after the bounce, the Plainswalker could reuse its loyalty ability.

Thank you! I was sitting there trying to figure out what made it so powerful. But yeah, that’s a pretty wicked combo!

Thank you! I have always thought(and still do!) that the 3D on it was good, maybe even great if done well(Bravely Default). I play almost every game with the 3D on and it has never once bothered me at all.

I already have Funimation and Crunchyroll. That’s all aim gonna stick with. I’m not a Prime member and REFUSE to pay double what I’m already paying for two different services. If I want to watch something and it’s on Amazon Strikeout, then I’m just going to pirate it.
