I hope you’re right. Ostensibly healthcare is the #1 priority on voters minds (way more than Russia etc) and there was a huge uproar when the GOP attempted to repeal the ACA. They’ve now taken a different approach slowly chipping away at it. I hope we aren’t so tribal that voters don’t see what’s happening.

I was thinking the same thing. Whether you look at the shelves of a (now-non-existent) record store, listen to broadcast radio, look at music festival lineups, look at the rosters of music labels, or whatever, I would guess that you’d find an average of 80%+ male/male-led artists.
