Feige should promise him the sweet release of death, but only on the condition that he agrees to play every alter ego Pym’s ever had. Ant-man, Giant-Man, Yellowjacket, Goliath, Pymtron... Feige could lock him down for another decade.

Douglas says that he actually suggested killing Pym off in Quantumania, but, you know, with a whole Kang Dynasty to set up and Corey Stoll’s M.O.D.O.K. to introduce, there wasn’t enough time for some “fantastic way” for Hank Pym to meet his maker.

I used to think I did not have time for 17 hours of podcasts, then I listened to the entire back catalogue of The Evolution of Horror. For me podcasts just fly by, because you can listen to them while you are doing anything else (driving, folding laundry, yard work, running, walking the dog, etc.).

I hate when the show does that: they pack an episode with celebrity cameos and/or cast member corpsing, both of which they encourage the audience to cheer wildly for thus taking time, and then they’re surprised when the show is running behind and they have to cut something. They showed the band vamping two weeks in a

Back when we were all still on LiveJournal, I was a member of a crafts group. Another member posted about her crocheting project—she had made a pattern of crocheted Jack the Rippers and she posted a picture of the finished project. Caption: “Isn’t he the cutest lil’ serial killer you’ve ever seen?” I was honestly

Andrea Dworkin hasn’t stopped being controversial, but she also wrote an essay centering on Nicole Brown, and it takes far less than 17 hours to read.

Exactly. Literally everything about Jack is overblown. People love to go “ohhh, he was never caught! He must have been a criminal genius, ohhh!” He was never caught because police investigation standards at the time were terrible, and even within those constraints, the officers assigned to his case turned out to be

I'm going to have to track down a copy of The Five. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I’ve always hated the hype about the Ripper. Ultimately he was a killer who got away with murdering multiple people. And the prioritizing the focus on the killers while reducing the victims to footnotes is why I avoid a lot of true crime stuff.

Then don’t listen to it. No one is forcing you to. That said, it is one of the most excellent podcasts out there.

It’s a damn shame... that Norm McDonald died first because I bet he could’ve done some great bits about this.

No “absolutely more than likely” about it, he 100% got away with two incredibly savage murders. I watched the entire trial in college, watched the verdict live on TV (like most of America) and have hated him with every fiber of my being for decades now.

couldn’t have happened to a better guy

The Founding Fathers, in their great wisdom, knew that one day we’d need a mechanism for dealing with Gina Carano’s bullshit.

Over at RationalWiki they refer to this “Just Asking Questions” bullshit as “JAQing off.”

Maybe Gina Carano is a dumbass white supremacist who should be ostracized by polite society?

It’s true - I read the Constitution and there’s no mention of Gina Carano anywhere in it!

saying she was merely “asking questions”

I think the bigger question here is, who actually believes Gina Carano has any acting talent?  She was absolutely the weakest actor in the first two seasons of Mando, and is definitely NOT missed at all.

I don’t think Disney’s looking for an apology, Gina.
