The 1st Amendment protection on parodies has never been 100%. You have to be close enough to be considered a true parody without sounding TOO much like the original. You have to keep the parody topic to something that makes the justice/jurists hearing the complaint against you believe you meant to parody that

I’ve seen greenlit used in the production sense as well and it’s the word used by Martin in his blog. Maybe consider saving your complaints for more deserving targets?

Why is it whenever something enters the public domain, the first thing it spawns is a cheap horror version? It’s fucking lazy and makes me think our excessive copyright laws aren’t such a bad thing after all.
