Lionel Atwill spouts gobbledygook, Fay Wray screams, and it’s all in gorgeous two-color Technicolor. What’s not to like?

The Four Seasons are all really good. Winter, Autumn, and Spring are among Rohmer’s most affectionate and warm-hearted movies.
