I bought a Schleich dinosaur figure advent calendar for my nephew last year but forgot to give it to him. Found it the day after Thanksgiving after I’d already given him his Lego Star Wars advent calendar and now I’m opening up the dinosaur one day by day. Some of the days are really cool (hey, dino skeleton!); some

You should definitely check out Rohmer’s Perceval le Gallois. It’s one of Rohmer’s most obscure and atypical movies, but also one of his best. It’s an adaptation of a medieval epic poem that features blatantly fake backgrounds, characters narrating their own actions, and an actual chorus that sings songs about the

Thank you! Haha! Thanks for Thansigiving? Anyway sorry to vanish agian but Im realy busy as you can imagine like being a mom and also studying a lot! Haha! Have I biten off more than I can chew? Comfortably wild! Haha! Sorry I wasnt here again. So busy! Every day theres something new to learn about Mimi Puff. But dont worry everything is going super well! Im also exersizing now. It takes a lot of enargy to be a good mom.

The point is Im thinking I need some new shoes.

Were working it out. Weve been visiting day cares. There are some that will help you with realy little babies. Of course I know all the questoins to ask and my cousin is helping with the translatoin. Weve got it narrowed down to two but nether of them is particulerly close so its still going to be inconvenent. But its

I love Vincent’s revenge movies, because he did a cycle of them, starting with Dr. Phibes, where it was all about revenge against a group of people, with a shared theme, done in a wonderfully creative way. In Theatre of Blood, each critic he targets is killed according to a death in Shakespeare (one is drowned in

I highly recommend Theatre of Blood. It stars Vincent Price as a thespian who seeks revenge against the critics who gave his performances bad reviews. It’s a camp masterpiece, and probably my favorite role of his.

i remember seeing that one as a kid at a theater along with “godzilla vs. the smog monster.” good times. also, i am old.

Have you seen Gough in Horror Hospital? If you haven’t, you should, since that movie is entertainingly crazy.

I dont know what my first word was. Im not even sure if they ever said that in one of the BSC books but Im pretty sure if they DID they got it wrong or just made something up. I can ask my mom tho.

That seems highly plausible. I will assume so. There were also excellent paintings of hooded Inquisition figures surrounding the titular put in The Pit and the Pendulum. I love Masque but don’t remember any paintings in that film.

Im ok Binky thanks! Remember I was a pro babysitter before I was ever a mom! Haha! Im realy used to and I have to admit very good at looking after people and orgenizing my time and things. But I think I was pretty good at that before the BSC. We Kishis have allways been realy busy! Haha! Its like a family trate I

What about Burt Shonberg’s wonderfully creepy paintings of the Usher clan? And as over lit as the film may be, I still think Daniel Haller’s sets and Floyd Crosby’s photography are top notch- especially for an AIP film made for a teenage audience. Great example of how effective low budget filmmaking can be.

Sorry agian! Everyone had colds so being the only person who didnt have one I was super busy the last few days. Everyone is getting better tho.

For Halloween, I watched Trick r Treat. It was good. Not really scary, but some interesting stories being woven together. I thought the kid’s costume was super cute though.

I rewatched Corman’s Masque of the Red Death from 1964 this week and was noticing how over-lit everything was. It makes the dungeons look like a game show set. I’m guessing it was a product of the budget and the time crunch but it does kill the atmosphere a little bit. Though Red Death does have its charms, like

I dont think EB gets as exited about anything as I do. If he does he kind of keeps it tucked away. I dont mean hes boreing or anything. Hes just EB! Haha! Anyway where we went for lunch was this super cute little cafe that not a lot of people know about. We had smoothys and panwhatevers. I can say it but I dont dare

Guess what! We dont even have a tv rihgt now. So I have no idea about whats going on with Itte Q! The last time we watched it was a month ago I think? Anyway my cousin is tv shopping. It will take a wile tho I think becase shes like super deleberate.
