But did you know about the jar of honey, the paddle, and the Mama Bear costume?

That’s the most horrifying thing about this, what he’s done to erode freedom of the press.

Humiliation requires a level of self-awareness that sadly doesn’t work among that crowd. The piling on only serves to make them dig their heels in further. So let’s just bury them in a sad corner of the country where the stagnation of the gene pool will lead to sterility-inducing inbreeding within a generation or two.

  • Hunter Thompson once wrote: “There are a lot of ways to practice the art of journalism, and one of them is to use your art like a hammer to destroy the right people — who are almost always your enemies, for one reason or another, and who usually deserve to be crippled, because they are wrong. This is a dangerous

Rather than focus on real journalists, I think it’s time to put the feet of cable newscasters and producers to the fire. They created the Trump-as-mythical-viable-candidate-character from whole cloth. They still, today, air hour after hour of interviews and panel discussions featuring dishonest, vapid, disingenuous

Loss of the most basic, fundamental human rights is not merely “inconvenient” or “unpleasant.”

I heard someone, I think it was on the Vox podcast, say that Hillary has plenty of opposition research, and hasn’t really had to use any of it yet. Probably Pussygate is her doing, timed specifically to throw Trump’s debate prep off, but she almost certainly has worse stuff in the bag and is waiting for two weeks out

Vox ran a little crib-notes history of televised POTUS debates. Basically, going back to Kennedy/Nixon, the politicians and their campaigns have always wanted a structured back and forth debate with a referee to make sure the rules are being followed, and the news networks have wanted to do nothing but point a camera

What scares me is that he is poisoning the well of yet another presidency. Wouldn’t it be nice to have one side lose yet say, “ I don’t agree with him or her, don’t even like her, but she won fair and square.”

And don’t forget that he’s gotten his mouthbreathers so fired up that journalists are in actual physical danger. I’m surprised that a reporter hasn’t been jumped at one of his cross burni—I mean, ‘campaign events’.

My work had dealings with Trump in the early 2000's and I dug as deep into any files I could access for dirt knowing that I would be fired if caught. Nothing I found wasn’t already public, but if I’d found something incriminating I would happy lose my job if that is what it took to stop him.

Hillary cannot, for one second, even appear to lower herself to attacking Trump like he does with her. If she’s has ONE slight meltdown like Trump’s, it will bring this election back to a coin flip.

Louie Gohmert is the absolutely dumbest peckerwood ever to stagger out of the piney woods of East Texas...and that’s saying a LOT.

This actually fits in well with John Oliver’s use of a videogame as an analogy for women’s long journey to the white house with Trrump as the final boss. n all the best videogames, the final Boss always has at least one second form when they get desperate and revert to their true monstrous self.

I’m actually fine with this. Let the alt-right be emboldened. Let them identify themselves. Let them think they matter. Because if you have ever referred to someone as a “cuck” unironicaly, I automatically know to disregard your entire existence. Thanks for the time-saver, Fedora Nation.

My friends, the Trump campaign has decided to go full Jared Leto joker.

Has been said before, but bears repeating:

I don’t understand why people think when the election is over that we won’t be dealing with this insanity. It wont matter. We had 8 yrs of racist climbing out from the gutter. If Hillary wins, do you think this is going to just stop?

Oh, god, I just want this to be over.

“Louie Gohmert started eating glass!”
