Nice use of Pink Floyd. Sounds like they still used Gilmour and Wright’s original vocal tracks.

So, how do they decide when it’s Brendan Wayne in a scene, or when it’s Lateef Crowder? Does Crowder handle the fight scenes and Wayne handle the dialogue scenes? Does anybody know how they split it out?
Bob Chapek is really going method with his Obidiah Stane cosplay.
[...] the propofol had stopped my heart. For five minutes. It wasn’t a heart attack — I didn’t flatline — but nothing had been beating.
Does Switzerland not have anything like this in place?
Rivendell, Lothlorien, and the Gray Havens. Cirdan the shipwright was also a ring-bearer. Given how much the show likes to lean into the lore when it can, I’d expect Cirdan to show up in later seasons. His path will also cross with Gandalf’s, if that is indeed Gandalf.
I figured an adult happy meal would have 100% more vodka.
I think it takes great courage on Google’s part to do this. They sunk a whole lot of money and goodwill into this; that’s a helluva writeoff. Contrast this approach with Microsoft, who in the Ballmer days tended to stick with bad ideas and never give them up, until they were so far behind the curve that they are even…
That may be, but you find a pretty girl with a memorable look and an amazing voice, add some decent songwriting, and the music biz machinery that quickly grows around her has a vested interest in propping her up for maximum stardom.
Well, I laughed my ass off. The character was funny, and the actress was brilliant. Every note was perfect. This show is incredibly fun and I look forward to it every week.
Maybe the U.N. can take possession and make it a mobile refugee camp. It’s got to be better conditions than they deal with now.
Are you angling for a Twins reboot?
If I’m not terribly mistaken, Stallone as the credited sole writer of Rocky IV is guaranteed to get some money as the creator of characters, per the WGA. Granted, it’s not first dollar gross, but it’s a pretty sweet payday for not having to lift a finger to participate.
Do I have it wrong?
If you want to stoke the fires of anger further with Missouri politicians, look up our lovely governor Parsons. Imagine Andy Griffith, but corrupt and with an ambition that far exceeds his ability to lead.
So, one thing I’m curious about: why Joplin, specifically? Now that Sally’s headed back there, I’m even more curious.
I don’t know who remembers, but in 2011 Joplin was decimated by a huge F5 tornado. They still haven’t completely rebuilt.
Is Barry the F5 of these characters’ lives?
...and the town where she killed a guy, after nearly being killed herself.
I got that impression too.
That doesn’t really matter all that much. It is an oddly common misconception that you have to have lots of unassailable, conspicuous, clear, and direct evidence against the defendant in a criminal prosecution, or else they can wriggle their way out of it.
I’m guessing Barry will be regularly meeting with a prison priest, and wrestle with confessing all of his sins.
And that prison priest is Danny Trejo.
Maybe Kristen Wiig can play his defense attorney and fall in love with him -- unrequited.
